I am currently deployed with the U.S. Navy, am away from home and was unable to intercept a transaction my 20 yr old son was talked into making with the National Auto Warranty & Dealer Services of Wentzville, MO. He was pursuaded via a letter that he only had 72 hours to respond. So, he called and was convinced to provide a bank routing and account number for the purpose of withdrawing the initial payment to get an extended warranty plan going. From where I am located at, I got on the computer
and found out the poor Better Business Bureau Report has placed on the internet about them.
I am very dissappointed on how companies like this one; are not stopped from exploiting young and inexperienced americans like my son. I tried contacting the company myself at their 1-800 number and was on hold for over ten minutes and at about every 15 to 30 second cycle; was told by their recording that there was no other calls ahead of me and that I had no more than a one minute wait. And no one ever assisted me.
I am hoping my son, can get his stop payment re-imbursed by this company.
Due, to the high number of complaints
and the 33, 900 inquires they have. It is a not very reputable company my son should negotiate with.
