I submitted a claim for hospital treatment or I should say my Hospital (Holy Redeeemer Hospital-Meadowbrook PA)did for the dates of 1-15-2011 thru 1-19-2011. NBLA denied the claim because they said it was a pre-existing condition.
My contention is that it was an EMERGENCY, I either go to the hopsital or suffered severe health issues.

I finally got them to give me this address is Maryland. I also found out there is some HIPPA regulation concerning continued health coverage. My reason for the selection of this company was because my wife lost her job last July 2011; we had health coverage, then we tried buying the COBRA package but after two months it was just too expensive. We then contacted NBLA our health coverage never lapsed. According to HIPPA if you have health coverage with no breaks within 63 days your new health coverage is bound to cover you, is that right? Listen before we purchased this health coverage with NBLA, WE ASKED THE REPRESENTATIVE ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS, WHAT IS COVERED, WHAT IS NOT COVERED, we even explained to them I had part of my large intestine removed in 2007 would that be an issue if I had a blockage due to all the suctures in my intestine, they said only previous cardiac issues would not be covered. They were not forth right with us from the beginning, can you help. Or do you think we should seek legal assistance.
