I used to work for a company called Servicing Solutions Group, as a CSR headquartered in Palm Harbor, FL. Their servicing office is located in Clearwater, FL. They supposedly just "service" the accounts for Nationwide Assist and a number of other voice mail and electronic fax providers. These include VoiceXpress, Roadside Pal, TriVoice International, Coast To Coast, YCP Network, MDVM Connect, OneBack Up, Transcendent Internet, Interconnect Network Corp., and a slew of other brand names they have used in the past. They supposedly receive registrations for their services online on websites such as usprizedraw.com, myvoicemailprize.com, silvercarrot.com, coolsavings.com, giftcardchallenge.com just to name a few.
The voice mail accounts are assigned a mailbox number that is linked to 888-566-6421. Each of the above forementione companies use the same 888-566-6421.
On several occasions we would receive registrations by people who had been deceased for several years, children who had moved away from home for several years. as well as by people who had previously owned the telephone number several years prior.
What concerns me, is before my employment ended I learned that the
company obtained lead lists for sales. Well here is the tricky part. If these leads are not telemarketed how are the products being registered for?
Also, if you have encountered a problem with any of these forementioned companies and the transaction was not authorized, especially if you were given a registrant name that is not in your household or completely unknown, go back and check your bills! Why I say this, is that we were only allowed to give credit for the months you asked for. You may have been billed much, much longer than you are aware of. Please check with your local phone service provider. Call these people back and demand the additional refunds! This was a policy set forth by Servicing Solutions Group.
I really feel something shady is transpiring here. It seems logical that they change the brand name of the service more than likely, after they have received several complaints regarding a particular brand name.
