Fraud
I bought Nature's Best Acai Berry a few months ago. I too didn't read the fine print until it was too late! My husband noticed a couple of charges on our bank statement and we found out what happened. We called and cancelled everything but the pills...or so we thought!
A few weeks later I was out of pills and waiting for my next shipment...which didn't come...so I finally called to find out where my shipment was and I was informed that I had CANCELLED them! I guess that's what happens when the person on the phone doesn't understand English! I explained to them that I wanted the pills and that I only cancelled the extra crap they were charging me for. They promised to ship them right away and then they proceeded to charge my credit card $80! Well two weeks later I still didn't get them! I finally told them where they could stick them!
On a positive note: I actually did lose weight while taking them. I lost 16 of my 40 pounds I wanted to lose during that first month...without exercising!
I took one with a full glass of water 20 minutes before I had breakfast and lunch. They made me feel full and gave me great energy...which I needed because I was working 2 full-time jobs.
I have since tried another brand of acai berry and I didn't see any results. I would love to take these again if I could find another way of getting them...I will never get involved with that rip-off company again!

fraud/false credit card charges
While on the Internet, I came across an offer for a FREE sample of Acai Berries. I decided to give it a try. AFTER filling out a form, I was informed that there would be a shipping cost of $4.99, so I gave them a credit card number. Then on the same website, a page came up welcoming me to the FitFactory and stating that I would be charged a fee of $29.95 per month, and that I had also agreed to a 21-day trial of Cost Smasher, which would be another $2.95 per month! I did not sign up or agree to any of these things! Before leaving the website I left this message:
"I hereby CANCEL my trial order for Nature's Best Acai Berry and the FitFactory order that piggybacked on it without my knowledge. ANY charge to my credit card will be protested and considered FRAUD! The Better Business Bureau will be notified about your deceptive practices. I will not be responsible for paying for either product.
Norma Hamm"
I received the product anyway, and my credit card has been charged.

unauthorizes charge
The company posted an unauthorized charge to my credit card of $79.96 after I had requested and received a free sample of Nature's Best Acai Berry Supplement. I did agree to shipping and handling charges of $4.99 but then 2 weeks later the unauthorized charges showed up on my charge card statement.

Misleading Trial Offer
I only wish I had seen this site before I ordered my "free trial." The trial started as soon as I put in the order, even though the site said it would start after the estimated shipping date. I received the product 10 DAYS after I put in the order for the 14 day "free trial" and was billed precisely 14 days after the order. Also, this product is bogus. They don't tell you the ingredients openly, so I will:
Chromium (as polynicotinate) 75 mcg
Green Tea Extract 225 mg
EGCG 135 mg
Caffeine 200 mg
Acai (Berry) Extract 50 mg
L-Theanine 8 mg
Notice how far down the list the Acai actually is, and how little there is of it (liquid acai berry supplements generally offer about 20, 000-30, 000 mg per serving). And while the bottle does say that each dose contains "about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, " a cup of espresso only contains about 100 mg of caffeine. So taking this supplement is like having 2 double espressos before lunch, which leaves no room for actual espresso, or tea, or whatever you like.
Don't do it, people! It's a scam if there ever was one. Just go to your local vitamin store and get some liquid acai, a detox pack, and a colon cleanse. You will get the gunk out of your system and process more efficiently than these pills could ever hope to offer.

I ordered a 30 day sample of Nature's Best Acai Berry for the advertised cost of shipping at $4.99. Now I have a $79.00 charge against my account. I did not authorize this charge and wish to have this charge removed from my account.

I ordered a trial of Nature's Best Acai Berry online. According to the ad it was supposed to be a 14 day free trial of this product. I ordered it on 02/03/09 and received it on 02/14/09. I was unaware that I had to call within 14 days of ordering the product in order to avoid further charges on my account. I believed that I had 14 days from receipt of the product to actually try it and then decide. The other day I went into my bank account to pay a bill and noticed a charge from the Nature's Best company in the amount of $79.96. When I called the company to complain and find out why I was charged they were unyielding regarding refunding my money. Unfortunately, I became very angry and after 30 mins of getting nowhere I hung up. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to get this money back?
