Stay away at all cost
I ordered and paid for furniture 05/2009. I got only part of my order in 11/2009. My sofa was damaged.Over $3, 000.00 of goods not delivered. Christy Belton took my order for furniture in May 2009. While waiting for this order I made additional purchases in June. in August I started getting the run around about the status of my orders. I finally got some furniture 11/2009. My sofa arrived with damage to wood frame. I was told take pictures by Angie Hamilton and they would get right on having it repaired, or replaced, That never happened. I'm missing a chair and half, coffee table, and metallic side table totaling over $3, 000.00 flat out stolen from me. I was told those pieces were on a truck in CA waiting for a full load to come to NC the whole summer by Angie Hamilton, and Christy Belton, Kim? Brandy? or anyone else who answered the phone. I once was told my chair and half did not fit on the truck so it would be in the next load coming to their warehouse. I finally called the manufacture, They said, that order was never paid for. I do have the mail from them as documentation, so it's not hear say. These people flat out stole my, and others money. Bankruptcy should not protect these people from the civil and federal crimes committed collecting money fraudulently over the telephone and Internet. I even found a website advertising in the UK. That just confirms it for me his money is hidden offshore. That business savvy thief may look broke on paper but there is money somewhere. For this crook to have had 3 furniture stores go belly up and This other Help U Rent business racking up complaints with the same scam of Get the money, lie, stall, promise anything, deliver nothing as advertised, Declare Bankruptcy and laugh all the way to the bank. Itmakes you wonder why this man has not been personally prosecuted by the Greensboro, NC Attorney General Roy Cooper himself. It makes one think about who's really protecting and letting Russell Buck, Terry Nelm, and the rest of the associated liars keep getting away with out right stealing money. Federal, and civil crimes had to have been committed using the Internet, and telephone to collect money fraudulently. No matter if the address is Battleground, Walnut Circle, or Spring Garden It's the same crook. Bankruptcy is one thing, but it should not absolve and protect them from the overt crimes committed.

non-delivery of product
I ordered dining room furniture (table, 4 chairs and china cabinet) on 9/1/09. I paid $1995 via debit card. The furniture was supposed to be delivered in 20-80 days. I received a "confirmation by manufacturer" e-mail on 9/22 and nothing since. I called customer service the middle of November and was told that some people in the back hadn't been doing what they were supposed to do and that the 20-80 days were business days(Mon-Fri). I refigured and including Halloween and two days for Thanksgiving, that would make my delivery expected no later than 12/24/09. I went to the web site this morning and the main page has a "sorry we are going out of business" letter. I did a search and found that several people are in the same situation. I filed a report with the N.C. BBB and I contacted my bank to see if They can do anything for me. I don't know what else to do. One Alabama man who reported his story to ConsumerAffairs.com said he was going to Greensboro and talk to Brandi J. I hope he doesn't have a gun.
