These idots called me about an alleged debt from 10 years ago. I wasn't home so my wife told me about the message they left and I called them on my cell phone to see what this was all about. I told them not to contact me by phone and to send me whatever information they have concerning this alleged debt to my mailing address. They already had my address which is funny because the debt that they say I owed was long before I was at my current address according to the dates they gave me.

When I told them to send any correspondence by mail and not to call my home anymore. They said they had sent 15 notices to my home already which they claim I ignored. This is a lie. They also told me that not only would they continue to call me, that now they have my cell phone number too on their caller ID and that they are going to call that number as well. He said " Now we have you cell phone number too and I'm going to make sure everyone has it and we're going to keep calling you till you pay".

I hung up on that jerk thinking I could call back and talk to someone else who wasn't insane. No such luck, the same guy answered the phone. So I called back again and got a different jerk. Yes, that's right they are all this way. I asked him to talk to someone in charge and he probably just put his buddy on the line cause this guy was a jerk too. I told him that I was threatened by the first guy who said he was going to give out my phone number to mulitlple people to harrass me until I payed this debt that I have no knowledge of. And he said "ha, that's what you consider a threat?" I told them there were laws that prevent this kind of collections practices and he hung up on me.
