on the Gem I picked up booklet on Crisson Jewelers, recommended by NCL as a retailer for Parazul handbags. In the booklet there was a pricelist for accessories available for the handbags. I was interested in a leather charm that was listed for $20.00. I went to Crisson to purchase the charm and was told the price was $25.00. I did not proceed with the purchase and when onboard told the shopping consultants about my experience (Michael and Kat). they were very surprised and angry and told me not to worry, they would speak to the manager at Crisson and get my charm for me at the 20. price listed. They took my stateroom number and said they would contact me the next day. They never left a message so I went to recpetion desk and was told they were in a meeting but would get back to me. they finally got back to me and told me the manager was not in so they were unable to get me the charm . What they should have done was purchase the charm for $25. (20.00 of which I was paying them for) and take up the matter with the manager at a later date. If NCL had to eat the $5. overage they should have, otherwise they have no business recommending the store. Since at that point we had left Bermuda I had no opportunity to get what I wanted. The matter was handled very unprofessionally. WHAT DO YOU NEED 2 SHOPPING CONSULTANTS on a cruise that goes to one port anyway????
