Fraudulant billing practices
Eleven days prior to the expiration of my Sirius Satellite Radio
services, I contacted a young lady with Sirius Customer Service at (888) 539-7474. The advised her that I did not wish to continue my service after it expired. I was asked the reason for not renewing my service. I told her that I did not wish to continue doing business with a company that "outsourced" jobs that, I my opinion, should be held by American citizens. The young lady I was speaking with had a very heavy Hispanic accent and said she was located in Costa Rica.
Several day later I began receiving mail from Serius stating my service period had expired and would be discontinued. Having already notified Sirius of my intentions to not renew my service, I discarded all further notices from Sirius.
I subsequently received a notice from NCO Financial Systems, Inc. dated 9-11-08 advising me that I had an outstanding debt in the amount of $ 31., 25, Account # 2218406390. The notice further stated that failure to pay this amount would result in the matter being referred to a credit reportin g agency.
On 2 October 2008, I spoke with a Supervisory employee with
Serius Satellite Consumer Service (888)539-7474 who identified herself as "Andrea, employee #207".
I advised Andrea #207 that I disputed the charge of $31.25 since I HAD NOTIFIED Serius that I no longer wanted their
services eleven days prior to my contract expiration. Andrea told me the charges were for a $5.00 for a late fee, and $25.25 for continuation of service. I again tried to explain that I had notified Sirius not to renew. Andrea conveniently said that they had no record of my cancellation notice.
I feel very strongly that I my have been billed fraudulantly, or at very least, in error.
Please note that the reason I gave for my original notice of cancellation appeared to offend the Sirius Customer Service employee. I meant no offense when I said that I would no longer do business with companies that exported American jobs. In any event, for what ever reason, I do believe the employee failed to record my request for cancellation.
The fact that I did not send payment to Sirius Satellite should have sent a clear message that I did not want to continue my service.
Your assistance in this matter is very much appreciated.

Deceptive business practices
1) These guys after 6 years after reporting and faxing payment records of a doctor bill as being paid.
2) Left the doctor bill as being in collections with the 3 credit bureaus.
3) Therefore increasing cards to a higher percentage rate.
4) They totally ignore all faxes, they don't want to call the person whom they purchased or received the account from.
5) They totally ignore and don't want to update there records as being paid. Even after the doctor has been paid.
6) Even after the doctor reports to them that the bill has been paid.

Incorrect debt collection!
These people have been hounding me for an overdraft checking account with Bank of America in Lawrenceville, GA. I do not live in Georgia and have never bounced a check.
Each state has a consumer affairs, if we all file complaints with the Attorney General's office, maybe (like Pa) something will be done.
