Re: Declined Personal Loan
I recently applied for personal loan, was asked to submit all the relevant docs, I complied with all requirements, my grievience is that I notified consultant that my salary did not go in my acc via EFT as our subsidies only went into company account on the 31 May 2011 and all staff at our Association was given cheques i.e. I went to Standard Bank cashed my cheque and deposited money into my account. This however was the reason my loan application was declined. Nedbank did not take into account that my salary for previous months was done via EFT. I contacted consultant and he said the matter would be appealed by his co-ordinator, but conveniantly the co-ordinator is not in today as well. Sad to know that Nedbank does not respond to customer queries timeously & does not even go the extra mile to assist their customers. Text messages were repeatedly sent to me i.r.o. of completing applications as it was pre-approved, but when it came down to approving loan, a silly reason was given for it being declined. I even asked consultant as to whether I can submit a letter from the company I work for to verify the reason for salary been paid late/cheque and not by EFT.

Bad Customer Service
When setting up your internet banking services, Nedbank ask that you go into a branch to complete the process. I visited the branch where my account was opened, namely Nedbank at The Glen to do this. I requested that they link all my accounts to one profile which was not done, the did not link my savings account to the profile. Secondly, when you set up your internet banking they have to activate the SMS function in order to make payments from the site. This was not done either. I contacted their call center that same day and the agent told me that they could not assist that I would have to go back into the branch to have this activated. Nedbank Ask Once then sent me a message to ask if they could assist, I replied telling them the problem and they have not contacted me since. I have had poor service from Nedbank since opening my account. Why do they have a call center open if they are never ab;e to assist???

Bad attitude
My account was opened a long time ago, i went to musgrave branch to submit my FICA documentation AND to pick my bank card up and pay the fee, i gave them the fica documents and was told to pick my card up the following week (i have no idea why it would take a week for me to be issued a bank card, i have never had that problem at standard bank and FNB, Its issued same time) I went back to musgrrave today to collect my card only to be told that the manager has left thus i cannot get my card

one account to another
ive got two accounts at nedbank i gave another comp permission to withdraw money from the one account and then they went without permission and withdraw 50000 rand from my other account without them knowing what was that accounts no i dont know how but thye did this mos elegal what can i do this is money i need

poor service,unable to access my own money
i went to the nedbank rustenburg, to withdraw my money, the so called teamleader jeanette from rustenburg branch refused to give me my money, i even left my bank card as she refused to give me my money, right now i am inconvenieced by her because i was supposed to pay my builders with that money, she was so rude to me, she did not even know which procedure to follow in resolving the issue i had to get my money from the bank, even now i dont have my card with me, she needs further trainig on her job, she is a disaster, i want her to be dealt with accordingly.my details are as follows, id no-8104200154088, cell no-0834776767

Poor Client Service
I went to draw money at an ATM belonging to the Nedbank group. after putting in my pin and selecting the amount I wished to draw, the ATM took the amount off of my account and then never gave my the money. This was only the beginning of the nightmare. When I approached Nedbank to credit my account, I was told that an Investigation would take up to 6weeks before the issue would be resolved. never mind that, to add insult to injury they still charged me the full amount on bank charges to draw the money as well as the bank charges for the queries to try and resolve the matter. Nedbank doesn't seem to realise that they are dealing with people. It is either their way or nothing at all. They really dont seem to mind losing a client indicated by their "Corporate only" attitudes, after all people really dont have much of a choice when it comes to using a banking institution or not. I am disgusted with the institution and the way that they treat their clients like sheep. If you are planning to open a Nedbank account rather choose one of the alternatives or your matress.

Nedbank is the worst bank to apply for a loan
The process of applying for a loan at Nedbank is painful. Through each part of the process I have had to fax documents through repeatedly and followup myself if documents were received and what the status of my application was. Everytime I have to call and find out what is happening. I applied for a loan at the beginning of April and the process is still not complete. Whenever you ask to speak to 'Tracy' (The Manager), she is always in a meeting. whenever you leave a message for someone, they never return your call. They have a courier service for getting the orignal documents called CCD Couriers. They took over a week to obtain these documents from me. When enquiring as to the reason, Nedbank said that they sent the documents through timeously, while the courier company says they got the request only the day before contacting me. Someone is obviously lying. I have still not had any joy from Nedbank and when trying to ask for any of the people that I dealt with, I get put back through to the initial call centre recording. This service is atrocious. How can a bank expect to ever get new business with a department like that. I will never bank with Nedbank and never recommend them.

Seems like Nedbank does not want my business after all
My Building Home Loan was approved end of February. However, Nedbank has failed to register the bond.

It seems that some verbal agreements made during the negotiating process, can now not be catered for!! I have started building my house already (as per the agreement), and can now not continue because the bond is not registered!

Seems like Nedbank does not want my business after all.

Your money not you're own
On the 26/07/2010 I wrongfully transfered an amount of R38 921.06 to a client of Nedbank. Within 15 min we were at Absa to cancel this transaction. All documentation was submitted within that day. On the 05/08/2010 ABSA told us that NEDBANK doesn't want to reverse the money. We got hold of NEDBANK's client. She gave us Authority to reverce the money and that she acknowladge that this money doesn't belong to her. I found out later that NEDBANK does not want to give back the money because their client owes them money. NOW they took my money to pay their clients debt. After all facts showing that this money wasn't ment to be theirs at all THEY still refuse to give it back. NOW if I keep money that's not mine, it is called theft... What do you call this !!!
