Robbing people off their hard earned money
Four times now I have requested Nedbank through their web services to provide me with information regarding their Savvy account. Once through the JUST MONEY link, and the other through their website. No response. Obviously they have enough business not to attend to my request. Why meet new business targets when you can raise bank charges?

i opened an account with Nedbank recently paid R1000.00 in the account withdrew some of it again for an emmergency then redeposited again R300.00 but when i wanted to draw again i could only get R100.00. Why ask people to open accounts with them to save when in the mean time their ******** your mony from you. I would like them to close this account immediately as i never want to deal with them ever again.

Make nothing happen - with Nedbank of course
Are we being discriminated against? We have an existing bond (nearly settled) & would like to buy a guesthouse, which makes MUCH more than the potential bond repayment & the land & buildings are worth SUBSTANTIALLY more. We have ITC clearance and have submitted management statements & business plans. We have done our homework. We feel that Nedbank is not actually looking at the proposal on the table. Despite our good standing, the inherent property value & the lucrative existing business, the reasons for the decline are ludicrous and vague. How are we to turn 'business dreams into entity' when you wont let us? On borrowing 2.5 we also have 2 to put in ourselves, and that seems to count for nothing. SO if we dont need the Khula handouts but have a bit to put down on a biz that actually shows good figures, Nedbank does not care. Our proposal is solid & the risk is minimal. What is there not to like? Unless its us they don't like. Wake up fellow dreamers. Nedbank is not engaging with us. Nedbank doesn't call back. Nedbank doesn't need our money. Not even our lovely childless-with-cash-to-burn PINK money. So I will take my money elsewhere, less biased.

complete waste of time, the people who work there, they do not assist, you will be pushed from pillar to post with no help, only to find out that you are under insured.

i applied for a loan via phone and recieved papers signed them and faxed them back whn i call they say it is still in process so what must i do know? wait till when they r really unprofessional

Nedbank does not know what is going on
I was double debited on my Nedbank loan at the end of December. I phoned Nedbank Saturday 2nd January 2010 to ask them to refund me one debit order as I have other debit orders coming off my account on the 4th and they were going to bounce. They told me that the money was refunded into my account, I told them that it was much appreciated. I went onto internet banking on 6th January to check if money has been deposited into my account, it was not done. I phoned Nedbank once again to find out how long it takes for the refund to reflect in my bank account (Standard Bank) they said it should be reflecting, I was then told that the refund was put into my FNB bank account which has been closed for over a year now. I then asked the individual on the other end of the phone to explain to me how it is possible that they can debit my Standard Bank account every month for their money which they get immediately, but when it comes to refund the money we are given so many excuses and answers that do not help us in any way. I have asked for someone in senior management to phone me and explain to me how this is possible. I will wait and see how long that takes.

I will tell everybody i know to avoid using Nedbank in future
I have been a loyal client of Nedbank for 10 years and have had 3 vehicles financed through Nedbank whilst being a member of a CC.My vehicle was stolen in September and apon applying for finace was refused on the grounds that i am self employed. Even though this has never been a problem in the past. I feel now competly untrusted by my bank! I have never missed a payment and i disgusted with how i have been treated. I have been in conversations with the bank for about a month to not avail. I will tell everybody i know to avoid using Nedbank in future.

Empty promises and bad service
I went through the ordeal of doing an insurance claim for a burst geyser today. My initial impression was that the service from the Nedbank call centre on 0860 555 111 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0860 555 111 end_of_the_skype_highlighting was quite good with messages being sent to me informing me that the plumbers had been notified and that they were on their way. Plumbers on call arrived and confirmed that the geyser had indeed seen it's last day. Before installation they wanted me to do an excess payment of R1000 which I did without any hesitation. They installed the geyser and told me that the electrician had been called upon them discovering that some of the wires were too short to connect. I noted it on their report and already started getting concerned. I then spoke to a number of people over the next couple of hours to try and escalate the issue. One lady Chantelle even said that they were a 24 hour service. At around 17h30 I phoned again to escalate as it had now been 3 hours since I had had spoken to the last incompetent person. A guy who had been programmed to say ' Sorry sir our services department will only be open again tomorrow ' kept on repeating himself after I blew my lid. No hot water and three kids to bath - Moving to FNB.

Nedbank cheated me out of my loyalty points
I wanted to pay my large dental account (I had the money in my cheque account), so hoping to accumulate a large number of loyalty points, I attempted to pay with my new gold cheque card.I had to go and speak on the dentist's phone to verify who I was and an authoration number was given to the merchant. However, whenever she tried to put the transaction through, the machine came up with the message authoration required. Eventually I paid with a paper cheque, but I do feel Nedbank cheated me out of my loyalty points!

I will never go to nedbank again
I took a lone out last year October the loan was R25, 000.00 i have been paying every month R1582.00 i phoned them today 27-10-2009 and asked them if they can reduce my payments and make my period longer, they could not help me all they said was NO, no arrangement nothing i told them what if i cant pay that amount i can only pay R600.00 they said they cant help me.

I will NEVER go to nedbank again, i will tell everybody i meet and each of my friends what bad service i got from Nedbank.

Nedbank does not care
I know I am wasting my time writing this report because nedbank hasalready proven that they don't care. Despite my explanation that I was issued with a proof of settlement when I settled the account some 4, 5 years ago which I have since lost, nedbank still insist that they need proof of settlement. The fact that they don't know about the settlement and they don;t have the settlement letter in their records goes to prove that they don't have proper internal processes in place. I addition, Levern Khathi says she has no account of the reasons Nedbank is trying to collect(incorrectly and illegally) from me now, she is at collection therefore she can't be asked about anything else outside of collections, which is more proof that the left is not talking to the right hand within nedbank. The truth is I settled the account. How long was I supposed to keep the settlement letter for? Even if I had the letter, who knows if they would not come back after 5 years and claim that I still owe them? Perhaps they should consider that even if I did owe them, by law they should have written-off the debt after 3 years.
