No service once they've got your signature
Sat 10 July I was approached to change my savings acc to a current acc, I would get R750 if I did.I said great where do I sign?!!Royen Swazi of Foreshore contacted me on the mon & said he would come through to me on the mon. He only pitched the tues, no explanation.Fine, it was great to have someone come to me.But the empty promises did not stop there.He let a colleague of mine down, promised to bring my new card to me & didn't.I've had no news about my debit orders or R750 as promised.His manager even promised to sort it out & didn't! DON'T PROMISE IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER Its been 45 days since I signed & 3wks since I heard frm him last when I phoned him.I had to phone him again this morning & he asked if he could phone back as he was signing another client on.I suggested he finish up with the existing ones first & I was promptly told that I was not helping anything!
I am tired of not being communicated with & am now fuming over the bad attitude I encountered this morning.
I have been waiting over 2hrs for either him or his manager to call me back after I expressed my disattisfaction. I have been more than patient! Why do I have to complain to get basic service with a smile?

Nedbank has the least ATM's available to clients than any other bank in SA
Nedbank has the least ATM's available to clients than any other bank in SA. This totally inconveniences us, as everytime we need cash, we need to either drive to the bank, or search far and wide until we find an ATM somewhere. More often than not, we are forced to use atm's of another bank. With NEdbank being aware of their lack of ATM's would it not make sense for them to charge LESS fees when we are forced to use other atm's? Seeing as how our options are so very limited when it comes to theirs?
I honestly think you guys should rethink your charges to clients.

Gross Negligence
After changing my debit order from the 31st to the 25th of every month, the past three months have been hell. Eiher the debit order is not processed or the deit is processed twice. This results in my credit record being negatively affected. Becasue of this my home loan application was declined. I am absolutely disgusted in Nedbanks "services" and would NEVER recommend them to any1. After settling my personal loan wih them I will beassured to NEVER deal with Nedbank again, in any form.

personal loan application
i applied for a loan on 11 may 2010, i even signed the appoval documents vis courier, but still no response, everyday i call, n sadly some of the consultants just dont know whats going on, i eventually contacted the team leader or person in charged Tracy jane which inturn gt a consultant to call, but still gave me answers application still in the process, i then contactd the complaints dept were i liased with Delona smidt, who said she will deal with complain, i called her everyday, she advised she was awaiting feedback, i then get a lady by the name of Pretty that called on 24/06/2010 said she will be handling this query from the loan dept, n 1nce more requires my latest payslip & bank statement, i faxed that, she confirmed she received it, n assured me i will get feedback on Friday morn 25/06/2010 hass this application has been too long, n they markd it as high priority, i have been calling since then with same answers its in the processing depart, n evryday they advise me definately tomorrow u will get feedback 7 i dont, today i call Delona again n she advised they awaiting confirmation from my bank, then now i get a call from nedbank saying that the interest rate from 21% is gone to 29%, and i already signed the documents along tym ago, i just so disgusted with nedbank as they are so unprofessional

banking charges
I have banked with Nedbank for some time. I have an account that charges R85 per month for bank fees, fair enough. Since 1st Oct 2009 I have not had any income come through the account. I call the bank to freeze my Account since I would like to use the account when I finally secure a job. So, End Feb I cannot freeze my account, the charges are building up I can't pay it off since I have NO income. I am pretty much stuck! The account will build up until such time that I use it again - which in this day and age could mean a further 6 months. Now I ask Nedbank, why can I not just freeze the account until I can use it but not. They are totally useless, uncaring SOB's. I find it unbelievable that they don't offer any kind of service??? So whats on the cards for me, being blacklisted thats what. CHEERS NEDBANK!!

Call center wasting time and refuse to let me speak to a team leader on my request
Was asked to contact a call center agent by the name of Cashwell on Friday and this morning(18/01/2010) I tried calling him. Upon getting through to Thokozani Dladla I was confronted with security checks of which I see no point as I wil be asked the same questions over and over. Does this mean that if you dont bank there you cant return calls? I felt annoyed by this and wanted to express my unhappines to management and was refused by the agent.
I then called back and asked the agent to speak to his team leader as I would like to log a formal complaint as was told to hold on... then upon return I was informed that his manager is refusing to take my call based on the fact that I would not do their security check...
Now really this is pathetic. Am I just a number or am I a human with the right to be assisted.
I never asked them to prove who they are.
Is this the way we treat our valued clients?

Stolen funds
I believe Nedbank has stolen money from me. My account has been frozen, due to lack of use, their words. I deposited funds and then 2 weeks later when I tried to transfer funds I found my account frozen. I was never made aware that I had to use my account more regularly. Seems I have no access to my funds, my account does not gather any interest, yet Nedbank see fit to charge me all sorts of fees for an account I am unable to use. seems liek robbery to me.

OUTSTANDING LOAN
I am currently a cheque account holder at Nedbank for 2 years. I recently received a final demand for payment of a outstanding loan dating back to 1998. This seems ridiculous to me as i cannot remember ever having a account with your company to qualify for a loan in the first place. How can you as bank expect me to keep prove off payment for ten years or maybe even longer.
Why if i did not pay did it take ten years to contact me . This whole matter seems nonsense and i would like your company to please sort this problem out as soon as possible.

Bad Service and inattentiveness
I applied for a personal loan online (because I was told it should be easier and quicker).
The next day I phoned to follow up and quickly did a telephonic application for which my consultant said it had been pre-approved and gave me the amount of R28000. She said they will have to send a courier with the documents for me to sign, i must sign it and then send it back with the courier and then it should take ±3 days and they will contact me.
The courier came the Monday, by the Wednesday I hadnt heard anything so I phoned the consultant I was dealing with and she said she hadnt even received the documents yet!! I then called again the Friday and she said that it will still take a few more days for them to process. I asked if I will get a call to say when they are paying the money into my account or what will happen. She said I might get a call or I might not as they may just pay it in without notifying me. I then phoned again Monday to find out whats happening and was then told that they have changed my loan to a smaller amount as I do not quality for my first original amount (which was initially approved telephonically).
I have had nothing but "LACK" of service from Nedbank! It took me having to make all the phone calls, without anyone bothering to phone me to advise me what was going on. Whenever I phone this consultant is always busy or on lunch or something and I can never speak to her. What I cant understand is why everything was approved, documents were sent for me to sign and then I get told that I only qualify for a smaller amount!! I think this is Fraud and this is a way of hooking the clients. I have been a Nedbank account holder for the past 10 years and this is the service that we get. I would very much rather cancel my account and not refer anyone to Nedbank ever again, because if this is how a Nebank account holder gets treated, I do not even want to imagine what somebody (who doesnt have a Nedbank Account) will have to go through.
