Nefer Nails in Harvey Park South is not a place that I would recommend any longer. I have patroned this business for over 13 years and have had issues a few times, most recently the owners niece, Lisa, has been running it for the past several years and her husband which is the only male that works there. I went in Nov. 24, 2009 for a new set of nails. The man is the one that put them on, but I usually have Lisa do my nails since I know her quality of work. Within a couple of days my nails were already "lifting". When it was time for a rebase 2 weeks later I called and spoke to Lisa...told her I wasn't happy and wanted her to do my nails. She said that could and I went in. When I got there she was doing a pedicure and said that her husband would do my nails. I was leary, but voiced my concerns of the quality of work to him. He removed the polish and the nails had lifted all the way up to where the Tip was glued to my nail. He removed the lifted part and completed the rebase. Again, within a few days they lifted. I called back and spoke to the husband who told me he did not have time to talk to me and that they would not fix them. I asked for the owners nails as he is the one that first ever did my nails and I was refused it. I called back again and spoke with Lisa and she called me a liar, refused the contact info of the owner and hung-up on me. When I called back she refused to speak to me and her husband hung-up on me again. I would not recommend this business anymore as the quality of work has apparently declined dramatically and the customer service to resolve the problem was not there either. So, if you want to be treated like this then feel free to go there.
