In April 2009, I had a financial nightmare begin. I was left to pay a large mortgage by myself overnite. My boss told me to call NCA because he thought they would be able to help me negotiate with Sun Trust Mortgage in lowering my monthly payments. So I did contact them. I spoke to many people there and I was told they could help me get a lower monthly payment and a lower interest rate. I only had to pay $4500. for this help. I stupidly agreed because I was very concerned about my financial situation and my good credit score . I have worked very hard since 1987 on my own and at that time my credit score was 777. I was very proud of myself. So I put my "situation" in NCAs hands and they started the procedure. I was told that I could pay $788. @ month instead of the $1633. I was paying. This was to be a 3 trial period. It is now 23 monthls later and I have not setteled yet! I was told by my agent ( the 3rd one in this procedure) at NCA recently that NCA is no longer in business. She would continue to help me thru the final process. That is a joke. I have only heard from her a couple of times since then and to no good result. I tried calling Sun Trust myself. I have spoken to 17 people there...they keep telling me that they have all the documents needed to finalize this...I have sent them hundreds of documents since April 2009. It is all very frustrating. I do not want to pay a lawyer to get involved with this nonsense because I just do not have the money. I paid $4500. for nothing with NCA. I have asked over this 23 month period 4 times ...to NCA...for a refund since they cannot deliver what they promised me in 2009. I was refused.
