Telephone harrassment, verbally harrassing, lying that they are attorneys, and threatening court action, when I attempted to negotiate payments
Continual phone calls, offering to help, asking personal questions, asking for friends and family phone numbers or reference phone numbers, which I have since read up that this company uses those phone numbers to harrass those people about us! This company sais they are attorneys, or that they have attorneys working in their office that will take us to court and levy judgements, they are rude, they talk down to you when you try to make arrangements, I seriously doubt they work for the comany they say they are collecting for, because any company would work with a debtor that is attempting to resolve the issue. This company harrasses you when you won't provide them your bank account number or if you do not have a regular employer to give them. There is NO reason to speak to someone like a gangster would talk to someone. This is harrassment, pure and simple, and should be stopped. No one should feel bad about attempting to resolve a debt during the Great Recessionary times we are experiencing now. This bussiness tactic is simply not right.

Miskeading information
Representative first indicated my account could be approved to work with our debt settlement company, once I verified there were no available funds on my Discover card. Once that was done, however, the agent would not move forward with the recommendation. I had at this time been on the phone for over 40 minutes, and asked the reprentative please tell me what else is needed in an expedient manner so I could get back to work. She told me to improve my tone or she would not help me ! So my tone determines whether or not they will work with our debt settlement company? I insited on speaking with a supervisor, who became so loud and rude that she told me they not only would Not work with us, but we should go an file bankruptcy. At that point I lost my patience and told her what she could do instead.
The reprensentative could not approve us at all. We either had the full funds in escrow ( which could have been verified or not with a simple call ) or they could not. I was mis-led most likely in an attempt to gain additional information for payment.
