On Sept 13, 2008 I went to the store #6, 1425 dundas St, Mississauga
to order a bed, a wall units, a desk and a chair and paid in Full by Not realizing that I only had 48 hours to change my mind I went back to the store on Sept 21 asking if I could get a refund but was told I could not. The reason for it was -the smaller unit was not going to fit the configuration that we had established in the store; therefore the manager of the store gave me a credit and we took the smaller unit off the list and added a office chair and a credit of (-$155.94)which at this point I will NEVER use. As you all have be come aware of - it is now May 24, 2009 and I too still have not received a stick of furniture.
The store manager said that I would still receive the furniture by the beginning of November. On November 28, 2008 I left him an email asking where is my furniture - Of course he did not send an email back he left a voice mess and luckily for me; he also left a mess on a Cell phone which belonged to my sister and stated that because of the strikes in Greece and the pirating on the ocean there has been a few problems (that isn't my F?????ng problem I WANT MY FURNITURE)
I contacted him again in the middle of January 2009 by email and asking him to send me an email back which of course HE DID NOT he left me another voice mess which I recorded and wrote the mess word for word On Feb 6, 2009 at 8:30pm Voice mess read: longtime waiting - delay in furniture - some containers in Canada in January
Strike in Greece should have by mid Feb - WELL YOU CAN STILL GUESS I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FURNITURE so if the containers are in Canada and I know that have to go through customs I cannot understand that it would still take this long when it was only suppose to be 6 to 8 weeks llllllooooonnnngggg. I also have had a hard time trying to get ahold of anyone especially a complaints dept at the head office or even the CEO (or I just happened to stumble onto this website; the President Eleanor Reynolds) and try to get my money back ($2387.69) and they can have their credit back as long as I get my money back. I am truly amazed that I even contacted the Better Business Bureau of Ontario and they did not have 1 complaint about Neoset and the problems people are having. Well they will receive one from myself; count on it. IF anyone wants to contact the BBB the website is www.bbb.org I cannot believe that a company like this would try to stiff their customers - I have an idea for this company and any other company what about letting your customers know that it may take a little longer if a situation that is also out of your control or let your customer know we are sending you a full refund because of whatever the situation is (like the strikes in Greece or what other country it may be coming from) maybe your custormers will be a little more sympathetic but now you have lost another customer and possibly even more.
