selling garbage
I too went through the same song and dance with Ebay customer service after winning a vehicle from netexchangeauto. I won a 99 Ford F150 for $3105.00 the ad stated there would be a $150 service fee charge added on to the final total after the auction. Which is only the cost that Ebay charged this joker for placing each ad. After the auction he contacted me via email to say "Congrats I thought for sure that truck would have gone for at least 4 or 5 thousand!" "You got a great deal here is my number give me a call now if you can" When I called he first started rambling off you got a good deal!! Where do you live now ? Well here in Massachesetts we have a document fee that must be added on so you can get your tag that cost is $499 you need to send that now via paypal before the morning. " And that shipping cost there's just no way I can cover that cost now the lowest I will be able to do will be somewhere around $2000." In his ad there was nothing stating anything about a document fee but it did state that the shipping would be free to the higgest bidder. He immediately began talking about how long he has been selling on Ebay and he knows what the rules are and if I can hurry and send him the funds he will have the truck to me within 4days. We argued over the phone for several days ebay refused to intercede and when I got the truck it was a month later. And what a disaster it was, this is not the same truck I bidded on he must have taken photo's from when it first came off the line in 1999 and posted those photo's because the truck I received was two or three different trucks put together to make this one. The trim that goes around the truck through it's indention on the right door trim was 4 inches higher than the trim on the right side of the truck. The left side was 6 inches lower and was several shades lighter than the truck the rear was total different from the entire truck it was darker with a hint of glitter in it's color. The hood latch was broken off, the right door was crumped inward, no door panels, rust all over including the undercarriage, the gate came off in my hands, the door metal on the passanger side bottom was so brittle it peeled and flaked off to the touch. It wouldn't even start mind you! Let's Not Mention The Inside Wow!!! It looked as though someone had raised a kennel of sheep dogs on the inside there was an awful sign of puppy droppings on the seats, a choking smell of urine, doggy treats under the seats, dog hair in every crack and crevices all throughout the vents, so much so the seats were unable to recline because of the hair in the joints. It costs me several hundered dollars more just to have someone to clean this truck before I will allow anyone to tow it to service it. Be careful of this seller "John Farlan" of "netexchangeauto", other names "masscountryrambler" also "johnlarynn"on ebay! Ebays VPP received photo's of this rolling trash can and told me they were out of it unless I did not receive the title. Once I did recieve the title he had not signed it I called the "VPP" to inform them and again I was told sorry we 're unable to assist you because you have indeed obtained the title! Your case is closed! What a joke this K. Jemison is in Ebay VPP dept. would he have been able to keep his tie on for long after losing over 4grand on this wiggle wagon. I would think not! He suggest I send it back to the seller and have it signed which left me no choice but to do so, which has been about 43 days today and I still do not have the title yet.
