Cancel
My grandsons like NETFLIX and may put it on their own credit cards. Please remove it from my Chase card ending in 7838. I no longer use that card: it has been cancelled. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Signed: Maetta Davis

i ordered "6" movies about 6 days ago, and have only recieved 1, , , , , , i've allready sent it back and i "WANT MY OTHER MOVIES NOW!!!" If this is the kind of service i can expect from your company, i will certainly terminate my association with you and your company and tell "ALL MY FRIENDS" that your company is lousy and tell them "NEVER" to use it!!! very ticked off R.B.DANIELS

Poor Quality
I'm sure Netflix is experiencing problems handling the growing demands on their capacity driven by recent publicity about their new policy of allowing unlimited instant viewing for all but their lowest subscription level users. It just a bummer that we have to pay for a poor quality service. It basically makes the (Watch Instantly) service unusable. When I try to play a movie it comes back with "your connection is slower" when I know thats not true. When I visit other live streaming web-sites playback works just fine. It only happens with Netflix.

Extremely frustrating, since I thought Netflix was an awesome deal!

did not sign up for product as is
ireceived an offer for a $1000 gift card for Walmart via internet. I had to include my credit card info, i thought for the purpose of adding some sort of credit value to the card. Then I received a flood of advertising products for which I had to select 13 that I "might ' be interested in. I signed up for nothing, as I stopped the so called survey long before their product list was finished. I have since been receiving a bill for Netflix on my credit card for the amount of $9.99(advertized at $8.00 per month, I believe). I do not have any capability of receiving such products as Netflix in my home, and I would like them to remove me from their list, and refund any monies they have charged to my account.

Limited streaming options
I'm an inveterate early adopter and became one of Netflix's first subscribers when the service initially launched. Naturally, the week they announced their streaming model (and hiked prices for delivery of 3 DVDs), I purchased a Roku Streaming Media player and was enormously pleased with the content and quality of some films that will never appear on DVD (for one, Paddy Chayefsky's "The Hospital.")
1. Unfortunately, the service needs to expand its offerings dramatically--and soon, as Amazon Prime subscribers currently enjoy for free about the same number and range of options as paying Netflix subscribers. (For the record, Amazon Prime launched as a service where subscribers pay a flat annual fee for free second-day shipping).
2. The streaming offerings will appear and disappear from your queue, depending on royalty options Netflix negotiated with the film or TV distributor. Although Netflix purchased the Starz back catalogue of films, they have limited display dates for some films, making them available to viewers in their instant queues, only to snatch them away without warning of an expiry date.
3. Worse still, for those of us who watch multi-part dramas in daily segments, or even films split into segments where we might start and stop viewing on either side of midnight, a film you're current viewing can become unavailable after midnight. I encountered this scenario whilst watching "The Importance of Being Earnest, " and paused the film to take a shower at midnight. By 12:45, the film was no longer available, leaving my viewing about half-way through the feature.
4. A customer service rep claimed that Netflix warns subscribers of the expiry date for streaming; however, they currently publish only availability dates for DVDs (and some instant viewing).
5. I would widely and firmly advocate Netflix instant streaming as a terrific option, but, currently, over 90% of their catalogue is available in DVD only--and this from a company that proclaimed their intentions to move to a streaming-only platform within a half-decade. They've a bloody long way to go, and, in contrast to streaming media, I find DVD delivery painfully slow.
6. However, streaming options also need to include the same options as DVDs, including whether to turn subtitling on and off (handy for second-language learners), and, more important, access to valuable DVD extras, currently entirely absent from the Netflix streaming options. You can either watch the flick or TV show--or you can't.
Currently, I'd warn would-be subscribers away from Netflix for these reasons, especially given the price hike that was supposed to make palatable their low-priced, exclusively streaming subscription.

Credit cards
My daughter bought a gift subscription for me as a birthday present. She set it up for her card to be charged monthly. When I tried to redeem my "gift" subscription, I was asked for a credit card # even though it was already paid for. I gave them my Mastercard debit card # and was told that it was a debit card and I needed to give them a "real" credit card. I rent cars, fly, make purchses all over the country and have never been told that my Mastercard issued by Metabank isn't good enough, particularly when it was only a back up for a account that was ALREADY PAID for. I told my daughter to forget about it, but I receive constant emails and letters telling me to come back to Netflix.
