I am done with dealing with this sorry company
I set up account with netflix to find that it looped back to start membership start up page. It took my money but looped back to start membership. A glitch on their online site. So I waited over the weekend once money posted back to my account & tried it again. Same thing..I called to get same response too. We will post money back to your account & you can try again, we are aware of this glitch & working on it. My question was...since it shows ya'll have my money cant you go ahead & start my account.the answer was no. That would of been the most logical way to go since the glitch is on their end..not mine.
I am done with dealing with this sorry company.

OTHER COMPLAINTS
every so often i check my bookmarks, particularly sites i haven't visited in a long time to see if i want to save the bookmark. this site came up.
i decided to check to see if there were any problems people had with netflix. after reading half a dozen, i wonder how all these people can complain about so many petty little problems.
i have been a customer of netflix almost since they started 7 or so years ago. i have no business association with them. i started using them on a special deal, 4 disk out at a time, and i don't remember what the original price was, but i know over the years the price has gone up less then $5.00 pe month.
they are one of the smoothest companies i do business with.
a few nights ago while half way through avatar, my screen started breaking up into spots of colors. i used their hot line open 24/7 and told whoever answered the phone my problem. he apologized for my inconvenience and said he would have a replacement sent on the next business day.
i removed the dvd and cleaned it, put it back in the player and it played properly. i don't know what the problem was other then it might have been a dirty dvd.
i have roku, and blue ray and a fios connection with a wireless router, nut i can't watch the roku because it doesnot provide subtitles and i am hard of hearing.
i mentioned that to one of their reps a year ago and they said it would take a while but they were heading in that direction. now they have started airing some dvd's with subtitles, and they are working towards having all their dvd's airing that way
th point of my non-complaint against netflix, is a complaint against the complainers. i can't believe the problems they are having. are they incapable of calling the netflix hot line? and this rude behavior of the netflix reps is nonsense. i have never in all these years been treated with anything but respect and courtesy.
do these complainers look for problems where they don't exist. maybe their lives are so unfulfilled, they need to complain about anything.
now i will return to reading some more complaiants, just for the laughs.

They are getting worse and worse
Been with netflix for two years, good service up to about the last 8 mos. since blu-ray you have to wait up to 2 weeks or more before you get a new release, talked to customer service many times same story we are working on it, new netflix ad brags about increasing its membership by over 20% but they cannot take care of its current members, (1 day shipping)well guess what...it seems to be getting worse. and if you ask them for a price adjustment, sorry we cannot do that, it seems if they started giving back money maybe the problem would be solved.

They are threatening to make me cancel my service
Netflix is demanding that I agree to terms of service which I have already done when signing up originally. They have obviously changed something in their agreement but I don’t know what it is. I spoke with their customer service department and they couldn’t tell me what had changed. I was instructed to re-read the multi, multi, multi page agreement when the customer service representative realized that the changes were not highlighted or otherwise identified. Now when I log on to the site they are threatening to make me cancel my service if I don’t agree – how sleazy.

Shipped bad bluray disc
Having continued problems with netflix blu-ray discs, I suspect they do not check the discs for damage after somebody has reported a problem. We are getting a 50% fail rate and most have obvious damage and extremely dirty discs.
Good customer service and quick shipping but if they want us to remain customers they need to start removing the discs people claim are damaged. I have started going at the bad ones with a big permanent marker, hopefully that removes them from circulation.
Customer service will send out replacements immediately and send you a few extra free discs, but when they fail to play as well you just get more pissed.

Unauthorized changes
My credit card has been charged 2 months in a row on 3/24 and 4/24 for your netflix, I did not order this, how did you get my credit card number?
This was disputted in march, and I thought it was taken care of then, what do I need to do to set this straight.
You had better come up with a logical answer, you have a pretty good reputation, maybe you would like to have some changes done to that.!!!
This is crazy, gove me my address if I've ordered movies, and what are the ones I ordered???

Long Waits
You only get DVDs when they feel like sending them to you. Netflix should be forced to refund you money when they are unable to supply you with a movie. I always have at least 10 movies on my wait list, but regularly am left waiting with no movies, even though I have a 2 movie contract. $13 a month to sit and wait is a scam. I figured it out. Yes I have to drive, but I am only receiving 6 movies or less per month on average even though I never keep them more than 2 days. I'm switching to Blockbuster.

Charged my debt card twice for the same payment
I just opened a account with them and when I checked my checking account a few minunets later, I saw two charges for $15.39 each from them. If this can not be setteled then I just want to cancel my new account with them.

Consistently damaged discs!
I have been a Netflix customer for about 2 years and have finally canceled my membership after receiving 3 damaged discs in a row and one of them was a replacement disc for one I had returned for damage! I would say that about 70% of the time, any disc we get is not watchable! After repeated calls concerning damaged I have given up! It's aggravating to be in the middle of a movie and have it be so pixilated that you can't finish watching it! I have wasted too many evenings with this issue and Netflix does not care! Don't waste your money or your time with Netflix!

bad discs
I have been a Netflix customer for the past 2 years and it seems that 75% of the DVD's I receive are so pixilated that the movies cannot be watched. I finally canceled my membership after having the last 3 movies I received damaged - and one of them was a replacement for the same movie that I returned because it was damaged!
Do yourself and favor and don't use Netflix - it is way more trouble than it's worth and a waste of an evening!
