Lagging Service
I joined NetFlix last summer and have been exceptionally happy with it. Their customer service is among the best I've encountered. However, the past few weeks, their service is flagging. Before I've been able to mail a movie one day and them receive it the next. However, now they suddenly "don't receive it" for at least one more day. Also, there will often be a reason they cannot ship out the DVD I have requested. Even if it says "available now" it sometimes will not go out. Before, they would get a movie out to me, even if it meant shipping from another location... I would not wait more than about 3 weeks. Now they don't care how long a customer waits. Is this a "we've got them now" tactic they revert to once a customer is secure? Or is this across the board?

long waits
My husband and i have been alternately customers of netflix for the past 3 years and up until recently, very happy with the service. Since early Dec. all new releases (aka. everything we want to see) has had a long wait. I have been waiting upwards of 2 and a half months for movies that i could have rented from a redbox yesterday. To sum it up we are very disappointed and ready to cancel.

Billed but no product
I signed up for NetFlix but NEVER received a DVD...for months now they have been billing me for a service THEY have not provided. I have contacted them but no response. What a phoney and complete ripoff company! I warn people all the time to NEVER sign up for this service because there is NO SERVICE!

Avoid them
We have a wireless internet connection. The player rated our connection as excellent. The picture is so fuzzy that is hurts your eyes to watch it. They claim that the picture is that of watching a VHS tape. WRONG.

ALSO - ONLY INSTANT WATCH MOVIES ARE AVAILABLE. Most of which are third rate.

Awful service
I was one of the first people to jump on the Netflix wagon when it started service and I recommended it to all my friends and family. It was a great company then, but it has gone downhill very fast. Since the advent of Blue Ray its almost impossible to get a new release for several weeks. (i.e.: I have had Michael Clayton on my list since before it came out and still have not seeing it over a month later) Netflix customer service keeps promising the problem will be resolved, but as of now it just keeps getting worse to the point where I have been several weekends in a row without receiving any movies from Netflix even though I have many titles on my list both blue ray and dvds. Their instant watch feature contains mostly decades old movies and not any of the new releases. I will be canceling the subscription at the end of the billing cycle and sadly going back to Blockbuster. At least there I can go to the store and get what I want.

Beware Gift Subscriptions
I tried to canceled a gift subscription five minutes after I made it and Netflix said it was not possible! WARNING if you give someone a gift subscription... even at $167 a year... then the person you give the gift will still have to provide Netflix a credit card. This is not how I want to give gifts!!!

I am sure lots of people will not redeem these gift subscriptions because they will get to the screen which asks for a credit card.

Simply awful
NetFlix's selection is shallow, their personal response nonexistence, their concern for customer's perspective abysmal.

double charge
I am being charged 2 times in the same month of $9.53 on my master card. please advise why. It is to be $9.53 per month. Thanks.

refusal to cancel subscription
I attempted to terminate my Netflix service in August, they are still charging me but have stopped sending my two at a time films. So I am now paying $18.42 per month for nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
