Deception
DO NOT give someone a neflix gift subscription!!! They will continue charging your account even after the recipient's subscription is up! In the VERY fine print they tell you that the recipient must cancel. That they have received a notice..not YOU the buyer. I'm so angry that they would only give me 1 month's credit for months of charges. They didn't even want my business badly enough to try to keep me from canceling my own membership. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I hope Red Box puts them out of business.

Fraudsters
I'm writing about netflx I want to know why they ask for credit card and I don't have one. And why do they offer a free trail and its hard to get.They say its free but its not they ask for a credit card. If its free why do they do that for.Is it for the policy for them to lie and say that its free and its not.They put it on TV and its not what they say.There is no fee or late fees or any thing but its just when they ask for a credit card thats my question.

people are strange.
I've had NETFLIX for 3+ years, and aside from a couple of cracked discs, which were quickly replaced, I've never had a problem. And I'm talking about 100's of discs. I really don't understand who has so much time on their hands to just vent and vent and vent, over nothing! My god, people are complaining about damage to their DVD players, billing snafus- can you tell me one company you use that never has a glitch? And where do you work that's so wonderful? And yes, YOU need to cancel your subscription or YES you will be billed. Duh. Maybe the whole concept is just too difficult for some to grasp.

Not a satisfied customer...
I was excited to recieve a 3-month Netflix gift certificate for my birthday a few weeks ago. I have never used Netflix before, but I had often heard good things about it. Well, my experience hasn't been so good. The very first DVD I recieved in the mail (disc 1 of a TV series) did not work on my DVD player. I tried it on another player and then on my computer and it still wouldn't play. I submitted a complaint to Netflix (online) and they said they would send out a new copy ASAP. Unfortunately, I was stuck with another disc from the show (which was no good without watching the other first!). So, I decided to try watching a movie online. I added a few to my "Instant Queue" and then went on a few errands and came back home to watch one of my movies. I came online to find their website was down. It has been several hours and the site is still down. I wish there was a way I could get a refund for the gift (there's not) and just stop by Blockbuster instead. Be wary of giving Netflix as a gift!

On 07/22/09 my bank account was debited $9.73.
I have been unemployed since December, 2008.
Would you please cancel my membership and also please credit my Visa card # 4323-7409-8982-3409
for the $9.73 that was made on 07/22/09.

unreasonable wait time for new (and not so new) releases
why is there such a long wait for new releases for netflix? don't you think that since they are automatically being paid every month by charging our credit cards that they should have enough copies of these dvds to go around?? i wait MONTHS for new releases that i could rent elsewhere and ppv --- but i think cable costs plus $18 a month for netflix fees is enough to pay out already - don't you think? why is there such an incredibly unreasonable wait time for this??? the first 10 to 12 dvds in my queue are waiting...and waiting and waiting. JUST GET ENOUGH DVDS FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. you've got millions of customers - why no product????

Unauthorized charges
This company has charged my credit card without authorization for three DVD's that I sent back on April. They never informed me about those charges ($60.00) and it was until I check my credit card statement that I found out about their fraudulent practice. I have sent them several emails to obtain an explanation on those charges and I haven't get any answer back.

Charged even after canceling account
Netflix has absolutely no customer service. It is impossible to find a phone number to call and they continuously charged my card even after I cancelled the account. I completely regret my membership and would advise everyone to be very careful when signing up.

Free trial is not free
I had to give my debit card number to get a free ten days of Netflix. I cancled the order on time and returned the movies on time but they continue to hit my card for $30 a month. I shouldn't even be in their system!
