It bothers me to great ordeal, that these animals are in crates all day and handled by so many people!! All these people care about it making a quick sale, instead of making sure these animals are placed in a loving enviorment. One that can give these animals everything they need. People just go in the store, thinking a dog/puppy is adorable and they don't allow you to hold it, but want you to buy it. Puppies are fragile, and they should be supervising all visits to ensure their safety and they don't. I as a responsible adult, even though it was being pushed on me to buy a puppy, I had to think about how much responsibilty this would be and how much expense goes into owning an animal. I own one dog, so there was more thought into the purchase. Granted, I feel in love at first site, but I had to make sure I could give him/her everything he/she would need. They don't even ask you questions about where you live, if you live in a place that excepts dogs, nor do they provide any information about the animal, unless asked and even then seems to be sugar coated. These animals are so PRECIOUS, and I don't think it's fair to them to start their life off like that. Any RUPUTABLE breeder wouldn't ship puppies to a STORE! That t0o, just goes to show they are out for the money. I'm an animal lover at heart and I just think how these puppys are displayed, is truely heartbreaking. I cried, just looking at all those puppies, in those crates, no blankets or anything, hard metal. Often using the puppies they are crated with for comfort because they have no other means. These puppies, some just 9 weeks old taken from their mothers and shipped across the US. I think that these stores need to be more concerned with these animals, then just making a sale. Can you imagine being born, with your mother for 8 weeks and then getting transported and who knows how they are transported, that must be so terrifying to them. Questions need to be asked about the person looking to purchase a dog. I went to the store today and I asked to see a puppy, I was asked are you looking to purchase a puppy today and if so do you want to purchase the puppy your seeing? Seriously!! First, before I purchase a dog, I want to see it's nature, see if it would be a good fit for my family, and not just base it off of looks, as so many people do. I want to make sure I know what their temermant is like etc. Furthermore, these dogs are in these crates all night by themselves? Do they have someone that stays overnight with them in case something happens to any of them. Puppies require 24-7 care and MALL STORES ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THAT!!! PLEASE PUT A STOP TO THIS!!
