Unclean hotel rooms
A couple of the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, but most are not! The rooms are never what I feel constitute being "clean". By that I mean I have been put in a different room almost every week I have stayed there and have yet to go in a room and actually feel like it has been properly cleaned by housekeeping! This is a list of many things I have encountered: dried vomit down the sides of beds (in at least 3 different rooms), cigarette ashes on the ac unit and night stand in nonsmoking rooms, condom wrappers by the night stand, gum/ candy wrappers/ lent/ chunks of dirt/ cigarette butts on the floor. Almost every room is covered in dust and has dust bunnies dangling from the ceiling. They over charge for their rooms because there are so few options on staying in the town- that they feel they can! The "exercise area" is old wore out machines sitting in a hallway. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, but as unclean as the rooms are I refuse to use them because i doubt they are treated properly and seeing as bacteria view hot tubs as a breeding ground- no thanks! There are signs everywhere telling workers to clean boots before entering- as if that is their greatest cleanliness problem- sorry to tell them but its not! The upstairs hallway has weak spots in the floors, as do the stairs going to the upper rooms. The trash is only dumped out of the bags in the trash cans in the rooms, the bags are not changed! Heaven forbid you ask for an extra towel, pillow, wash cloth, hand towel, box of tissues, or roll of toilet paper because first they act as tho you asking is a crime- and second you will never get it!! You couldn't pay me to drink from the scuzzy looking coffee pots! The hair dryers are yellowed and sticky, but it would take too much effort to clean them. I turn the beds back every stay expecting to find bed bugs or other creepy crawlies and Lysol has become my best friend! I've had to stay here several days a week for a couple months due to working in the area, but trust me I don't like it and if there were better options locally i would be there!
