I am almost 64years old and have shop at Wal-Mart for years. In fact I work for Sams Wholesale Club for several years and I know that the people pay your salary. If it were not for us that shop there you would not have a job!
On April the 17 I had New Tires installed on my car. I don't really go much, but a week or so after the tires were installed I had to get on the freeway to go to the doctor and got the car to 60mile an hour and it began to shimmy. I had bought the life time balanceing so therefore I took the car back to Wal-Mart Car Service Center to get them re-balanced. They called me back to the center and told me that I had a small bent in my rim. I told the service manger that it was not shimmy before I had the New tires put on and then ask how did the rim get bent. He was not hatefully but he talked down to me as if I was stupid. I am a widow and on a very fixed income. I also told me that the rim could have been on the back of the car and I would not have felt it but I know that I would have felt it in the seat. Then he told me that I could have hit a pot hole. I told him several time that the car was not shimming before I had the new tires put on and I had not hit an pot holes before I had them put on or after I had them put on. I might have been born at night but not last night. He also told me to go to the salvage yard and buy another on and they would put it on for free. I told them I wanted to file a complaint but there was no way to get this young man to understand this. I do know for a fact that you can bent the rim of a car when changeing the tires. I was married to a man that instaaled tires and also sold them and he told me that it was very possible to bent the rim. I dare this young man to tell me to go to the salavage yard and buy another rim. I spent a lot of money in your Wal-Marts each month and am very up set about this I have to budget my money every month. By the way after the rebalancing the can shimmes at 40 so I am going to have to get another rim so it will not wear my new tires out. I am outraged!!!
