The company advertises there programs on the radio with the ability to return the product within 30 and no charges are to be made. When I called in the salesperson also states that I can return the product within 30 days without penalty. Apparently, without full disclosure they automatically sign you up for another product and later bill for that product. In this case it was $79.86 that was made on 11/06/2009. On 11/04/2009 they charged my account $1.00. When ask for a refund they said that refunds were not allowed and that I had authorized the payment, but would cancel future payments. I do not acknowledge ever agreeing to the terms that I would accept the other product and I feel their methods are misrepresentation and fraud.
Attached is documentation of the charge to my credit card (debit) and an email from Success Grants. It is interesting that Success Grants stated that the only way they could have gotten authorization from me to charge my account was for me to sign up on their web site. I never did this...I made the original order from Nightingale-Conant via my cell phone and my email address could have been taking from that conversation. Having just searched for successgrants.com I can confirm that I have never been on that site nor have I ever filled out information on that site.
