It's really sad how bad out law enforcement has become. It is a money making venture that is no better than the mafia. I was in Newark the other day in the middle of the night and head gunshots. I called 911, the operator said they're already responding to it. 10 minutes passed, no sirens, no cops in sight, no ambulance, no nothing. 20 minutes... 30... 40... 50... at an hour I left, glad I wasn't the one who was shot. the very next day my wife is driving through a police checkpoint and they stop her. I NEVER allow myself or any family member to operate a car without a seatbelt, she even had hers on, but this cop decided that she didn't have one on and didn't care to use his own eyes to see that she was. It's quite disgusting that there's no recourse against bad cops. I'm glad newark recently cut 35000 police jobs, cut more, the ones we have are terrible.
