SUMMARY:
Peter Mugwagwa (Newcastle Masterbuilders) has lied to us and took over $7, 000 for new windows and will not return it. Other projects he completed on our home is much less than satisfactory and will not pass building inspection. Keeping Yelp's policy of fact based reviews in mind, Peter actually sealed a gutter using masking tape and also attached a downspout to a gutter using only calk. Three of his subcontractors have come by my home looking for money because Peter hasn't paid them. Peter has stolen several items from inside my home.
Mode of Operation:
Peter significantly under-bid to get my remodel job. We had a contract at the project's beginning and asked to negotiate for more money later. He used improper, low cost supplies and labor in order to reduce costs and preserve a margin (e.g. using interior paneling on exterior of home, taking advantage of illegal labor and not paying them, etc.) In order to get the building permit, he coaxed a licensed contractor to complete the permits on his behalf.
