"Rush Processing" scam
Having just been informed that my "Rush Processing", "Guaranteed 3 Day Delivery" order will be showing up 7 days later I like to help others avoid the aggravation.
DO NOT waste your money on "Rush Processing", it is a useless option!
Even though you pay the $2.99 there is NO GUARANTEE that your order will ship that day. It is a total waste of money.
All the fee does is put an extra money in their pockets...Newegg is laughing all the way to the bank.
Don't bother calling customer service about it either, all they will do is apologize and leave you hanging.
I've been a customer for over 15 years and they could care less.

Shipping/Return Policy
I ordered two watches valued at roughly $200 each for my sons' birthdays. The Newegg shipping stated that they were to be shipped via two day shipping. However, the two day shipping occurred after Newegg took more than 48 hours to process the order. As a result, the watches arrived six days after I placed the order--which was too late for my sons' birthdays. So, I purchased watches locally for my sons. The fine print on their shipping policy states that the shipment will occur up to 24-48 hours after the order is received. My shipment actually occurred more than 50 hours after they received my order. I never even opened the package when I received it, and when I went to return the watches, the returns had to be made through Blue Dial Watches, which apparently is the company that Newegg had the watches shipped from. Blue Dial has charged me a $25 processing fee ON EACH WATCH for the returns. So I have been ripped off by $50, even though they failed to honor their own shipping policy causing the watches to arive too late. Please, please don't purchase from this company. Horrible customer service. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. Seriously read all of their shipping and return details. It is completely one-sided. There are plenty of other extremely honest and good companies online to order every single thing you could order from Newegg, and usually they will honor the Newegg price. Do not purchase from Newegg.

Rma issued but Newegg decided to void it
I ordered a item off the newegg.com website. I recieved a defective item and completed a rma request for the item. Newegg decided they didnt want to deal with replaceing the defective item so they voided my rma with out waiting to get the returned item. Now I have to jump through hoops and deal with the company that they bought the item from. This is a sham of a company that doenst want to deal with customers at all. They just want your money and dont care if you are satisfied ot not.

Very Disappointaed
I tried to buy a Xoom tablet from Newegg. I signed up for the preferred customer plan so that I could pay my account off in 12 months or less. First I was accepted, then I was declined, then I was accepted...bottom line, despite the fact that I have an excellent credit rating, Newegg wanted me to buy with a credit card, rather than buy on their credit. So forget about applying for a Newegg Customer Preferred Account. Even though they say you've been approved (for $4000 line of credit in my case), apparently it means absolutely nothing. Newegg may have good prices, but if you want to buy on their credit plan, forget it!!!

Unauthorized Charges
On 5/4/2011 Newegg.com charged $1215.47 on my checking account. I have never done business with them, I call my bank to dispute the charge, the bank said because of the large amount it could take 30-90 days for me to recieve my money back. This
unauthorized charge causes huge problems for me went I have bills to paid and now I have no money to pay them. Unemployed and on a fixed budget. Who gest screwed? the consumer!!

I was the victim of identity fraud
I was the victim of identity fraud and I suspect Newegg is how they obtained my information. When I contacted Newegg and verified my account they confirmed that another name and shipping address other than the one associated to the account was who purchased a laptop. Not only did Newegg charge my account with them and ship the laptop but then "could not disclose" the name of the person they shipped it to to protect their privacy. I asked to speak to a supervisor but one was not available. Later the supervisor called me and said the same thing that they cannot share any information about the person who stole my identity. I am now working through the Whittier, CA police dept where Newegg is located. I will of course never be doing business with them again and shame on them for protecting their money in spite of doing the right thing for a longtime customer.

slow shipping
These guys promise 2 day free shipping. I'm at 6 days without the stick of memory I ordered. I think they use donkeys for shipping. I won't be buying from them again. Judging from the number of complaints here; they are a waste of time.

RMA - Coupon Bait and Switch
I've been trying to RMA two defective video cards to Newegg.com for a few weeks. First they wanted to charge me a $55 restocking fee for DEFECTIVE merchandise. Then, when I got that cleared up, they knocked a whopping $120 off my return because apparently they had put some sort of coupons or something for some lame game in the shipping box (which I did NOT want nor did I have any intention of ordering, they just magically came with the order). I didn't send these back because I didn't even know that I had received them (I still don't even remember seeing them in the box in the first place), and so now I'm out $120 for coupons that I didn't use for TWO identical copies of some crap game that I didn't want in the first place. To top it off, I just checked their site for the same video cards I returned and they're basically the same price as when I bought them, only now they don't come with any sort of magic coupons, so they pretty much just ripped me off for $120. Nice, eh?
I've placed over $20, 000 (yes, twenty-thousand) worth of orders with them over the years and have generally been very happy with the service, and I've always told my friends to shop there. Not anymore. BUYER BEWARE!
Oh, and if someone from Newegg wants to verify the veracity of my complaint, my order number is 105859024.

Difficult to do business with
A few months ago, I decided to change my business purchases from PCMall to newegg because of the price differences and wide product selection. Here were my first three experiences:
1. I started with a personal purchases and applied for the 90 days same as cash option though your finance company. I was declined because Equifax has not received any financial information from any of my banks and your finance company does not utilize one of the other 2 credit agencies for information. I contacted Bank of America and Citibank and they said their companies only report to Trans Union and Experian and I could pay them to report my info to that company. No matter, I have never had this problem before in all of the credit and loan applications in the past so I went to PC mall who had the same financing offer and was approved without a problem.
2. Thought I'd give it another shot and made a few business purchases without problems.
3. The latest purchase was a business purchase that was time sensitive because of an upcoming trip however, 3 days after the order was placed, I got an E-Mail saying my account was frozen for security reasons and my orders were voided. When I called to find out why, the customer service reps were not able to resolve the problem on the first call because they had to contact the fraud department. The next day they called and said it was because I placed the order from a different state. I was on a business trip in California and i live in NY. I asked that they next day air the product I needed next week for the business trip and they said I should buy it somewhere else if I needed it the next day. I did just that as well as taking the rest of the order elsewhere. I have never heard of a company that requires you to be in your home state to make a purchase.
There are many other sources for these products and I do not have time to fight security procedures every time I want to make a purchase. They have not only lost my business this time, have lost 20-50K of future business this year as well as the potential business of the many people I talk to about tech sources. I hope the security tactics prevents enough fraud to make up for the loss of this business was well as all the other customers who don't fell like spending the time to write a letter.

I have never and will never order from this site
I have never and will never order from this site. I had someone use my Visa/Debit card to make a purchase with them. Very long story short is: I find the fraudulant charge and gather my own info to determine where the item was being shipped to. I notify the not so friendly or helpful customer service to advise them to stop the shipment because the purchase was a theft. They do this which only helps them out (I know, very nice of me to alert them). But when I try to get the info as to what was the purchase for totaling over $170.00, they tell me they can't give me any information because I don't have the thief's e-mail and password. So I ask them, "so it's ok that someone uses MY credit card, with My name, and MY phone number to make a purchase, and they can call you to get info about this transaction but I can't?" I was told yes, because it's their Newegg account...go figure.
Anyway, I have the police detective call them because two people in customer service tell me that the detective can get the info...but when the detective calls, they tell them they can't give it out and they will have the fraud dept. call them. Well so far no call from fraud (not surprising).
So...here is what I have learned. If anyone makes a purchase with Newegg using stolen identity/credit card...let the thief have the item, file the fraud form with your bank and let Newegg eat the cost of the loss...Sorry I ever stopped the shipment for them. I will never order from them, and have already told the large office I work for to never purchase from them. Their customer service stinks!!!
