Unapproved Funds pulled

Well It appears I'm not alone on this, same story for me as well. I saw the application, started filling it out. I noticed that there is a 99.95 fee and immediately cancelled the application. Two days later, sure enough the fee was pulled. I'm currently filing the charge under my banks fraud report. I can't believe this, I mean this is straight up fraud in everyway. This company must have read fraud for dummies. I mean come on taking peoples money without there approval? Now I don't understand with this going on for this long that this company is still moving this scam offer around? I hope that someone is cracking down on them hard!

Theft of Funds from My Checking Account

I was shopping around for credit cards the other day and partially applied for the Next Millineum card, but when i saw what the fees were just to open an account, i immediately closed out the application WITHOUT finalizing it. then today, i was online inspecting my savings and checking accounts, making sure my direcvt deposits went through overnight and, to my shock and horror, my checking account was NEGATIVE $51 dollars, due to a $99.95 dollar debit to my account from none other than this crazy Millenieum credit card company!!! what do i do about this?!! this has to be illegal. i never gave anyone permission to go into my account and take anything, let alone throw my account into the red!! can anyone please explain what i should do from here? do i call my bank, millineum (who i can't find a phone # for anywhere), the police? please, if anyone has information about what i should do from here, please contact me. my name is leah, and my email is [email protected]
