On the 4th August 2010 I purchased an Apple Ipad from Ngen Seng Pte Ltd 14 Scotts road #02-48 Far East Plaza Singapore.
My requirements were for a mobile unit that would operate in various locations in New Zealand and included a GPS program that was shown to me on a demonstration unit. A Wi-Fi 3G 32 GB model was recommended by the manager and all I had to do was to obtain a Sim card supplied by a internet provider in NZ . I proceeded with the purchase. He also persuaded me to purshase "software" for $400 that would allow me to download any program I required in the future at no extra cost.
At the managers advise I left the Ipad at the store for the "software" to be installed and returned a short while later to pick up the unit which was now in a carry case that I purchased and was also packaged.
When I arrived home in NZ and unpacked I found that the unit I purchased had been exchanged for a non 3G 16 GB model which is inferior and the cheapest model available. It is not mobile, it will not take a sim card and is absolutely useless for my application.
The managers actions were deliberate and fraudulent
