I bought three years of warranty from NHP which took me through 2010, now I find out they have filed bankruptcy and I have lost a year of up front payment to this company not to mention the service calls I put in that were never honored.

One service call was for my pool. They send me the repair guys name and number, it was not even from anywhere close, he was two hours away and said he does not and would not work with this company, then they told me they would call me back in 24 hours with someone new, which never happened. Then they told me to find my own guy and they would just reimburse me, which of course didn't sound right with me. They NEVER had anyone available to come out, and the 1 and only time they did, they guy lied about what the problem was so they did not pay for the repair. These guys were never any good, and I wish I had done a little more resouce on Home Warranty providers.

I also got the runaround with the free home depot gift card they promised to send me. I was supposed to get three for the three years I bought up front. They said I sent in my form too late to get the cards, what kind of scam is that???
