Laurika Linde of Nibshort insurance took over the policies of Bart early this year, since then there have been many problems with this broker.Laurika promised Bart she would deliver better service at a better price than the company he was with.So he handed over his home and business policies to her.She came to discuss the policies, but told him not to worry about his home policy as she would take care of it.Bart soon realized that she had not given him the cover he wanted but COULD NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH HER!he sent emails but got no response&she was never available over the phone.Laurike Linde put Bart at more of a risk than before.Her blatant disregard for the position she puts her clients in has led to the point where this complaint has to be made public. Clients must be wary of the broker they hand their policies to.Laurika’s lack of interest in this case has cost Bart money, this being the excess of R1500 for car incident that only cost R4500 to repair and the excess was R2500- With the most recent claim, Bart was only offered R1750 from a R12000 claim and the shortfall being R10 000. Once again, this all would have been paid correctly if his policy was given any attention.
