Give False Information
Nike stores are providing wrong information. I went to a Nike store and purchased NIke running shoes (these are my 6th pair of Nike shoes.). I asked the sales man, "Are the same models available in US?". The response was that "Models are made as per terrain ect. which are specific to India". Based on this purchased the shoe, but reality is it is same as in USA and the price difference is over 60%. I wanted to give the shoes back to the store but the store manager responded in a negative way. Calling up Nike's office doesn't help as well. I mailed them and called them 100 times, they did not respond. The regional manager says call me after half an hour and never is available after half an hour.I am surprised by their not responding.
Nike has a brand, and it is not living up to it. Based on false information they sell goods in Indian stores. And also don't respond to the customer care.

Shoes
Nike is a great company. However, their shoes need more originality. I see WAY too many sites with unauthentic shoes and having companies bite off their look. It needs to provide it's own brand at reasonable prices so that everyone can enjoy. Also, it shouldn't give them a reason to slack on the material and creation of the shoes; I've had really great shoes, but shoes that just break down within the first month of wear.

Poor Customer Service
Hi,
I seek your help in resolving a complaint that has left a very sour taste with Nike and its lack of customer service. I have been driven pillar to post without any resolution. I am detailing the case below and hope you take the necessary action and appropriate compensation.
•I had purchased shoes from Nike Showroom at Khar (Linking Road) in Mumbai, India on Nov 22nd, 2010 for Rs. 8900/-. Unfortunately the product has been defective as within a month the mesh in shoes came out.
•I had taken the shoes to the same showroom on 22nd December 2010 for a replacement. The sales person at the showroom informed me of his inability to take any action and requested me to come back on Friday 24th December 2010 to meet up with the showroom manager.
•On 24th December, the sales manager informed me of his lack of authority to remedy the situation and that the shoes would need to be sent to the Bangalore office for approval. I was further told that this would take an additional 3 – 4 days time. I was given a claim receipt (No. 20358) and asked to come back to collect the shoes on 28th Dec. The scanned receipt is attached to this email.
•On 2nd Jan, 2011 – a good 8 days after claim submission and with no intimation from the showroom, I went to the showroom to collect my shoes. The sales manager rudely informed me that 4 days were not over yet and that I would need to wait further. This despite the fact that the claim receipt contradicted his statement. I insisted that he find out from the Bangalore office on the approval. I was promised a call back by 3rd Jan; however this has not yet happened.
•On 4th Jan, 2011, I called the store on 4th January 2011 to check on the shoes status. The store person curtly hung up the phone by saying that the shoes have been dispatched from the Bangalore office along with the approval and he would let me know once the store received it. This till date has not been done
This rude, curt, delaying tactics and total lack of customer support is not expected from a global icon like Nike. I have always been a Nike customer but am considering moving my loyalty to another brand.
I hope you take appropriate action and ensure that the shoes are delivered to me at the earliest. Moreover, I feel justified in asking for compensation of Rs. 500/- for the expenses incurred in travelling to the store multiple times from my home (a distance of 15 kms), non-utilization of paid gym membership, apart from the mental and physical strain. I also recommend that you train your store people appropriately on customer handling.
Thanks.

They cheated me
I ordered a pair of Nike shoes from www.nike-airyeezy.com! The web-site seemd totally legit, I received my shoes and discovered they are knock-offs/imitation Nike. I was cheated and led to believe my shoes were on sale 50 percent off from 130.dollars. This web-site never states what they are actually selling. They claim to be from the Uk. or Canada but my shoes arrived from China. The shoes are definitely not worth 69. dollars primarily because of all the flaws they have. Most of the stitching is visible and the feel like cardboard paper. I'm PISSED!

Shoe's sole fell apart
I bought a Nike basketball shoes from FinishLine. After wearing the shoes 3 times, I notices that the soles started to fall apart and I worried about my own safety to exercise while wearing this kind of shoes. So I filed a claim from Nike website and mailed the pair of defective shoes back to Nike. To my surprise, the "inspection" by Nike came back as "Claim Denied and (Shoes) Recycled".
That was laughable because if Nike recycled the shoes, that means that the shoes were unwearable and, thus, defective! It is obvious that the glue Nike used to manufacture those shoes are defective! Nike, on the other hand, refuse to admit it's their fault but recycled the shoes anyway.
According to information disclosed from Nike website, they have recycled millions of shoes. It makes me wonder how many of them were defective shoes. One can even make the bold claim that since Nike is so sincere to recycle its shoes, Nike choose the glues for it shoes which is not the strongest! I used to have Nike shoes that lasted more than 12 months. This pair of shoes only lasted less than a month. How pathetic!

faulty trainers
I bought a pair off Nike air max junior trainers size 13 from JD Sports in Hull, this has been the 6th pair i've bought in total for my three children. Each time after 3 weeks off wearing them the stitching has come away around where the toes are at the front off the trainer. These type off trainers have always been my favourite, i've always worn them and i've always wanted them for my kids. But this particular pair i paid £35.99 for them and after 2 and a half weeks off wearing them the same thing happened again. I've never complained about anything in my life but, Nike are supposed to be a popular brand and certainly world wide. They have really gone down in my estimations, you can't fault the clothing its really quality but something has to be done about the stitching. I still and always will prefer the Air Max Classic's, but i can't keep returning them.
