Smelly trainers
In July 2oo8 I paid 120 pounds for a pair of Nike Mercurial football boots. After a while they smelled very strongly of amonia (cat's pee !!) A BBC consumer programme Watchdog" highlighted the issue and Nike have said that the boots can be taken to any Nike outlet for refund/exchange. However, when I took the boots back to "Sports Direct" where they were purchased, the staff were extremely rude, intimidating and didn't want to know. After 3 trips to the store, I still have the boots and have had no satisfaction from the shop. What should I do next ??

football boots falling apart
my son bought a pair of nike mercuriel puple/white football boots to start using for this season (sept) and uses them 2 times a week. They have started to split on the white area on both boots. They cost 58.00 and I am disguisted at the short length of time they have lasted.

My other son bought at the same time Adidas adinova boots and uses them the same amount of time costing 21.00 and they are still in perfect condition

Shoes smell like cat urine
I am glad to see this forum, I have been battling this for a couple of years, at first I thought the kids left their shoes on the step and the cat urinated in them, we tried to wash it out with no success so we threw them away. Then a friend told us it was the glue that Nike uses because they have had the same problem. My wife is a loyal Nike customer and demands that our kids wear Nike shoes. We have a lot of Nike shoes and only some of them are stinkers. However the brand new pair of T90's I bought for soccer this year are horrible, after the first use they stunk to high heaven. I don't know what to do about it other than put my foot down and forbid any more Nike shoes to be purchased in my house. THESE SHOES SHOULD COME WITH A "DO NOT SWEAT OR GET WET" WARNING ON THE BOX.

poor manufactoring
I bought my daughter a pair of Nike to start school in September. She wore them one time to the fair. the sole fell off nearly causing her to trip. She thought I would be upset so she did not tell me right away. When she did I nearly cried. I am a single mother and cannot return these to the store. I did go to the merchant and got nowhere. They wanted to tell me that I must have washed them. NOT SO !!! The sole does not even fit the shoe and has no glue what so ever. This is unacceptable. Please help me to return or let me know where I can have the warranty honored. You can contact me via email, phone or mail. PLEASE HELP ( Paris Shoe Show. Paris, Tn. 38242)

Selling counterfeit nike products
This website advertises authentic Nike products but actually ships counterfeit products. They refuse to answer emails or even provide a return address. Paypal and the bank were useless in getting my money back because I still have the merchandise through no fault of my own! This website will not provide an address for you to return the counterfeit merchandise and then stated that if they did provide the address and the merchandise they received back was counterfeit, they wouldn't refund my money!

faulty nike air rift's
I am submitting this complaint because I am not happy with my nike air rift sandals. 4 weeks after purchasing them the inner soles have started coming out. The other fault with them is the velcro strap on them don't stick properly. I did not keep the receipt because I thought these problems would not ocurr. To contact me by e-mail; [email protected]. My mobile number is 07861364799

Expensive garbage
HOW DO I FILE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH NIKE ABOUT A PRODUCT I PURCHASED?

I bought a very expensive pair of Nike ACGs AND i HAVE HAD THEM FOR PROBABLY 4 YEARS but have only worn them half a dozen times. They look and smell new. Today I wore them and when I came home I kept finding NEW trails of white particles. I am wondering where this is coming from..then I see a chunk of what appears to be chalk. My wife says, look at your shoe. The soles of BOTH my shoes are literally coming loose from the body and the tread and a large chunk of the white "rubber" has come off the side of my shoe sole. What? So the materials are so cheap that they disintegrate if you DON'T wear the shoe??? I CAN IMAGINE THAT IN COMBINATION WITH CHEAP THIRD WORLD LABOR. I need no more convincing. Nike is only a name of a great product that existed for a short time awhile ago. The products that bear the name are now just some more of the garbage that is manufactured by whoever will do the work the cheapest in our new "global economy" and display a name that commands absurdly high prices. I will no longer support these products but I do feel entitled to a new pair of shoes I can actually have the opportunity of trying to wear out by WEARING them. Any clue as to who I write at NIKE to get a response?
