Dear Nissan Of Manhattan:
I purchased a Nissan Versa SL 08 back in 07 at this location along with a CAR SERVICE PROTECTION PLAN that provides Oil Changes, Car Inspection Checks, Tire Rotations, Multiple Checks for Wear and Tear on the vechile, and Occasionally complimentary car washing if needed. On April 22, of 2010 I returned to the service center department due to complications on the vechile driving performance to learn that several safety problems had occured. Not having any Knowledge of any of these issues could have damaged my car further, caused an accident on the road or possibly broken down while driving. Nissan's technician Jordan worked on my car in March 2010 servicing an Oil Change. During that car's service Jordan did not provide any detail information to inform me or the service representative that the Versa would need to continue it's success to perform. As a result he over looked all safety issues, Worn Tires, Clogged Air Filter that needed replacing, Wheel Alignment, Carbon Build-up, Brake Rotor, the entire Multi Point Check etc etc...
Having all these safety problems at once made the car unstable to drive that resulted in the amount of $1, 249.21. It could have been avoided had the Technician Jordan rectify these issues on his time Inspecting my car while installing the Oil Change.
The nissan versa had to remain over night, I had to be placed in a paid car rental, I was forced to return the next day to pick up the car only to see further damages of scratch marks on the hood, bumper, passenger side door, dirt marks on the car and glass from a rushed car washing. Less than a week the passenger's front replaced tire needed to be replaced with air at least 3 times in a week. Later I learned that the Censor had to be fixed which resulted from the service providing the replaced purchased new tire. I paid for that repair because I use my car to commute to work in New Jersey I didn't have a choice. I'm extremely depressed from this experience!!!.. I felt buying a brand new car from the dealership, than paying for service would allow me some peace of mind some benefit to keep this car in great condition for years to come instead nissan has let me down. My faith in what I believed was an investment has been destroyed.
WHAT COULD BE DONE HERE?.
HOW CAN I GAIN TRUST AGAIN WITH NISSAN?
What I would like?. Something done on my car's damage plus the money back on the tire repair job to start with.
