horrible customer service
Nissan takes home the trophy of worst customer service ever!I went to Nissan Trophy on sunday looking for car. They pre-aproved me, and I was informed, the bank had accepted my trade in as well. I was quoted $310-320 per months. I was to return on monday to go through the financial department with my dad to sign some paperwork.I got there a 4:ish, They couldn't find my file. It was taking so long.When they did find the file, we still had to wait, becuse it was not loaded in the system, that took another 40 minutes or so.The guy finally took us in his office, to AGAIN tell us, he was ENNTERING the information. WHAT WERE THEY DOING WHEN THEY TOLD US THEY HAD TO UPDATE THE INFO in the system?The financial consultant put my middle name as my last name, I told him twice and apparently it was still not corrected. He had us signed all the paperwork and even videotaped the session, for customer safety.When we finally got through we signed a contact.It was over 3 hours, when the paperwork took less than 30 minutes.i recived a call from a sales mananger(4 days after)I needding me to come in today. I told him, if the payment was over $350, I wouln't be taking the car. He stated he understood, but was nothing out of the ordinary sometimes they could get a better deal.I told him I could drop by on saturday, Before I left home, which at the other side of the city, When we arrived, we still had to wait, more than 30 minutes, before somone came to speak with us. Then they couldn't find my file AGAIN. they aSked me what I needed, by this time I was annoyed.After more than hour waiting, A sales person who I have never met, or new anything about my case, Stated I was required to put a down payment of $6000.I told him, He said, he din't know why, the bank didn't accept the contact. THIS WAs almost a WEEK DRIVING THE CAR!my husband then asked why didn't they say that on the phone, when they had call. he said he WOULDN'T GIVE ME MY DOWNPAYMENT TILL MONDAY. That really got me upset, he took away the keys off the car, and all of out stuff, and refuseS to give our down payment.He didn't care, and ketpt saying, he doesn't know anything. OK SO WHAT DIDN'T THEY HAVE ME SPEAK WITH SOMEONE WHO NEW WHAT WAS GOING on?I did ask to speak to a manager, and it was WORST!He wasn't even a manager, it was nother salesperson.He was rude, and unprofessional, he yelled at me and my hsuband and stormed oout of the door saying we won't get our check till monday. I told him, why did he have us come in, and turning in the keys, when he knew he wouldn't have or check ready till monday. He kept yelling at us, and stated if we didn't turn the car in, he could use our down payment as repo. My husband, told him no one is trying to keep the car, we just wante dour $. it was over 90 degress, and had our toddler with us.I asked were in the contract stated he could take they key off the car, without given me my down payment, He stated it was due to LIABILITY. LIES. I had full coverage on that car. I was disrepected, and taken advantage of, they knew well, we wouldn't have accepted to pay $6000, as down payment, and din't tell us that ove the phone, so we could have left our stuff at home, and prepare to turn in the keys, and had a family member drive, AND NOT TO HAVE TO BE IN THE HEAT. ALL of the officeS were FUll, and they didn't Want for us to stand in the door way.The salesperson even had the nerves to tell us, if we made it more difficult he would charge us for each day that we use the car.It was ther job to find a bank, Why did they pre approve us had us signed all the paperwork, wasted over 3 hours on monday, I missed a class. Then had us drive up again.to take away the car and refused to give us or down payment till monday. The sales person told me I could have my check at 8:05, I called at 8:40 and was informed by Chad, he couldn't cut me a check till after 11:00.
