I had purchased a Nokia mobile phone model NOKIA- 6303 AMEI NO. 358281037029166from mobile stores at kandivali west, Mumbai 400101 on 11 jan 2010 against bill no.100900195 dated 11/01/10 . The phone is under warranty till date.
2. During the usage of phone during last 08 months or so the display developed partial crack and black carbon deposition, with the result, I was unable to use the phone properly due numbers and message not being clearly visible .
3. I had taken the phone to your service centre - FONEWORLD, shop no.6, M. Kishore Apt., Dattapad Road, Off MG Road, Borivali (w).on 18 Nov 2010, who said that the display was not under warranty and charged Rs 1082/- for repair vide invoice no. 2260 dated 13 Nov 2010
4. I wish to submit that I had not caused any physical damage to the display and the defect of partial crack and carboonisation of display had possibly occured due to material failure/temperature fluctuations. As such it should be considered as a warranty defect.
My communication with your (NOKIA) helpline on 16 Nov 2010 also refers.(Ref. no. 11266537011).
5. In view of the foregoing I would request you to reimburse me the repair charges which have already been paid by me, more so because I am a regular user of different models of NOKIA phones since 1997.
