I am going through a great extent of suffering due to the fault in my Nokia 2610 and the repeated servicing which I am getting done at regular intervals.
Finally I have decided to lodge my complaint after so much of distress. I am a Principal in a college and due to the fault I am facing great inconvenience.
Following are the details
1.Purchased the handset on 07/ 10/2006 from Cariano Telecom Pvt Ltd., 6 E Kamla Nagar, Delhi -110007.
2. First problem occurred immediately after two months.
On 4th of Jan 2007, I went to the service center mentioned below:
Service center: Nokia Care Center, ACE Communications, KD-177 Main Road, Near Kohat Metro Station.
Concerned Person: Mr Ashu Kumar, Service Manager
The faults detected by the engineers were:
Power : phone restarts/ reboots & Cellular access : No service
Comments: Auto off, hanging problem, Alarm Not working , No Network
Received the handset on 17th Jan 2007
3. Returned the handset on the same date i.e. 17th Jan 2007
Mic wasn't working (voice wasn't through to the other end)
Received the handset on 1 Feb 2007
After 2 hrs no network was detected, alarm wasn't working again.
4. Again gave phone for repair on 14 Feb 2007. Mr Ashu returned the handset. After 1 hour, again network and alarm problem cropped up.
5. 15 feb : Went to service center again. where they finally asked to go to janakpuri and give application for getting the instrument changed.
