Nokia 5300 has been a nightmare. Since I purchased this phone in 2008 it has been nothing but trouble. I've had it replaced twice. Each phone the cover that is over the speaker has fallen off... never to get it to stay on...this last time it fell off...can't find it. I thought it great a phone because it offered so much. It started out with I could not hear on the phone very well... No matter what I did people just couldn't be heard not even with the bluetooth. I sent it back... Then came the next one... It would not allow me to hang up calls...everything would freeze. No matter how many times I cut it off take the battery out...just didn't work. Now again... the speaker doesn't work...I can only answer calls with my bluetooth. Without it the speakers sound as if busted. I can't download any music... It will only take me downloading pictures... It's ridiculous... A phone so expensive but so unreliable.

Nokia 5300 only 5 months gone and the cell phone is like if I m on call for 10-12 mins cell will get overheated like it is abt to brust and not able to hear voice of others neither on loudspeaker mode volume is already full still not people on otherside says to change my cell phone Nokia should replace the cellphone as mine is music edition but normal 5200 is having more voice than this one. i always feel shame when ever someone talk from this cell.

i boubht my Nokia5300 handset from Nokia Priority dealer in Guwahati. after few months of using it develoed some problem in the display. i immediately took it to Nokia Care Centre in City centre in Kolkata and they sorted out the problem and returned the same to me within a few days. every thing was going good when suddenly the same problem cropped again alonwith the automatic switching off the cell. as it was still under warrenty period i took to the main Nokia Care center in Kolkata, the Sakesphare Sarani centre. they accepted the cell and isued me the jobsheet and said it would be returned within a few days. when on the assigned day i.e., after 7 days i went to collect the cell htey said that they couldnot repair the cell because the cell has been tempered with. iwas totaly shocked because it was the Nokia Centers with whom i have deposited my cell everytime for repair. so if it had been tempered with they were the one who had done the whole TEMPERING. and while checking at the time of depositing the cell in the Sakespare Sarani they could not detect any tempering and it was in their custody then they are the one who have tempered with. i have not spoken with the Bangalore center but after im done with that im going to lodge a case against them. i have already spoken with a leading LAW FIRM in Kolkata and i m waiting for their instructions.im really disgusted with the service of Nokia care center.

I had given my cellphone on nokia service centre for some repair works as my phone is under warranty period. After due date, when i go to take my cellphone back, what i saw that there are a lot of scratches on my handset. What can i do now. Is there any policy or rules against mishandling of handsets.
