I felt cheated by Nokia when I bought this Nokia 5700 Music Xpress Phone & started using it to realize within a week that this phone is full with all sorts of problems. It is really not worth Rs.15500, I paid for this phone. I had purchased this on May,30 and later found that while accessing the menu features the handset automatically switched off & when I turned it on it, it freezed on the Nokia screen only. When I took it to the store from where I took the phone, he guided me to the Nokia Service Center at Brightpoint, Lower Parel only for the excuse that if they take the handset to the repair center then it will take 15 days to get the h/s back. So reluctantly I had to resort to his words & when i reached the service center they booked it for repairs & ask to return back after 2 days.
When i returned back, I was very hapy to knw that my h/s ws xchnged to anther 5700 only to find later that this replacement phone is full of many other faults. To name a few, the main fault is that the other person can’t hear me properly, lower speaker phone is not working, phone restarts automatically, call drops very frequently because of which I have to make the same call too many times which increased my Phone bill also. I booked it again for repairs & they told to return back after 7 days to collect it. When i got my phone back after 7 days, I found that the h/s is not repaired for the faults mentioned & they had just reflashed the software.
To add to it when complaint to nokia service center they are saying again book it for repairs... & not providing any exchange whatsoever to other model. To top it up, even the headphone is faulty & i have submitted it for exchange and now its more than 2 months & I have still not received the replacement headset.
I feel completely cheated with the kind of service & product provided by Nokia. I had checked with few other people also who use the same phone & I realized even they have the same fault.
