Not switching on
Hi, Iam using Nokia 6270 IMEI: 357576/00/524419/7 i was updating the software and during which the battery poped out and the mobile switched off and now it nolonger turns on Can any one kind enough tell me how it turn on again, Please help me an deperate, i need my phone working. KEY PAD PROBLEM
Hello all,
I been using nokia 6270 for lat one month. am facing a very big problem with the key pad ..unfortunately i just gave it to one nokia centre..they simply checked without doing any thing.now my life time warranty has gone since they have checked my mobile(they have taken the screws)..PLS HELP ME..i like the mobile very much, but the key pad is not at all working...i cant bear the service charges.HELP ME

Network and charging problem
My friend have sent a mobile phone named nokia 6270. The network does not work. When the network comes, my set restart. The charging is lost. pls sove my problem. I am proud of you.

Poor service!
I am B.Kalyan Chakravarthi, residing at Visakhapatnam, Andhradesh I Purchased a Nokia 6270 mobile, from the NOKIA PRIORITY SHOW ROOM, On 21/02/2006 a problem raised with my phone & I immediately bought to HCL NOKIA CARE and handed over my mobile set and they gave me a job sheet vide no.4201011857 Dated.23.10.06 and informed us it will take 3 days for carry repairs, after three days I visited so many times to your HCL NOKIA CARE CENTER regularly but no use. After 20 Days HCL NOKIA CARE executive Archana told me my hand set was swapped and with in four days I will get a new hand set, after that so many times visited NOKIA CARE. Finally Mr. Chadra Sekhar committed to give hand set on 20.12.06 at 1230 Pm, on 20.12.06 when I visited your HCL NOKIA CARE CENTER Mr.Chandra Sekhar tried to give used hand set with full of scratches, key pad and on / off switch broken, Mr.Chandra Sekhar stating that it is a new one but apparently it looks like a used one the used to take and made an attempt to cheat me as it is a new one. When questioned the same, NOKIA CARE people asked me to wait for half an hour, and after that also the same thing was repeated.

So the acts of personal are with cheating attitude. I complained in appropriate forum.

In India Nokia is totally irresponsible!
I have seen many threads here complaining about working behavior of India Nokia (every body in Nokia e.g. Service Center, Nokia Main office and Web-Site responses), Is there is any general body who controls this Indian irresponsible people to make them answerable to grievances many people have along with my misery.

My misery start on 14th May 2007, when I downloaded software upgrade for my Nokia 6270 in Delhi, India (bought the original set from Egypt with bill and warranty of African continent on 23rd May 2006). The software warned me about severe consequences if it looses connection in between transfer. I took the risk as Nokia had made it public to upgrade own your own at their web site. Break was unavoidable and it happened. First my phone hanged and after trying to shut down and restart there was no response at all, looked like complete blackout without any screen response.

On 16th May approached Nokia's service center at Preet Vihar, Delhi for repair. After waiting for almost more an hour service people tolled me that they are going to register the phone as brought dead even my insisting of writing software dead. They took out the batter and SIM card and handed over to me along with Job sheet Number: 1101086322 dt 16/05/2007 with expected return date: 19/05/2007. Response on 19th was further two days and there after they tolled me the system had been sent to head office (Green Park, Delhi) with ten days return back commitment.

Approached them on 14th June 2007, the answer I got back was "Mother board is damaged". At the same instant after taking my mobile from them I tried to check the current status of the set I installed my battery, after which to my surprise with in one minute mobile went hot boiling as if something was shorted inside, now for sure I knew that my mobile is no worth to me. My first question to them was if this mobile is heating up at this moment why it was not heated up during discussion before preparing Job sheet (which generally takes five to ten minutes) and on Job sheet nowhere it is mentioned mobile heat up problem. Again to my surprise they tolled me gray market sets behave like this after seeing Made in Germany stamp on my set, as these sets are not available in India.

I took back my Job sheet leaving my mobile with the service center then and there. On the Net cross-checked my Job sheet status and again the site reflected no such Job sheet number exists, Made a web site complaint on Nokia India website on 14th June 2007, with second reminder on 16th June 2007.

Till today 17th July 2007 there is no trace of any mail from Nokia or from Service Center and again no sign of Job sheet number status on web site at http://www.namscareonline.com/scripts/JobsheetStatus.aspx

Lost all hope of my mobile and still searching for someone, who can understand that investing hard earned money in these phones with no support do feel terrible. I have all the proofs of my buying of this mobile in original and Job sheet if some one requires them to inquire further.

Poor quality of service
Re: Nokia

1. That the first complaint was logged in to your service center MODCAD Communications situated at Nehru ground Faridabad. On date 18/04/07 but we received it as it and no repair was done at all.

2. Again we contacted to MODCAD communication center on date 02/05/07 but the refused to loge the complaint and told us, that if you want to get your mobile repaired, you have to leave it at least for one month.

3. the second complaint was logged in to your service center Bright point India Pvt. Ltd. Situated at #76, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase – III, New Delhi, on dated 20/05/07 and received back after some repairer but the system was not found in proper working condition.

4. The third complaint again was logged in at #76, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase – III, New Delhi, on dated 08/06/07 and received in the same condition, there was no improvement.

5. The fourth complained was logged in on 21/06/07 and again we received the instrument in same condition. There was none of improvement in the performance at all.

6. We are facing the abnormal quality of sound, abnormal quality of the picture, hanging problem and improper functioning of the touch pad till now.

7. Four times we have logged in the complaint to your service center and after all these efforts we did not get our instrument in proper working condition.

I have the entire documentary proof related this matter.

If the senior authorities set up a high level inquiry, I am very much hopeful that an alarming findings may come forward, which may help the senior authorities to take the appropriate action.

Further, I request you to interface the mater & personally look in to it because I want to maintain cordial and long term relation with your product. I am sure that I shell neither be forced to move to print/or electronic media not to look to the court or justice.

Bad products & services
The concern is that, I bought my 6270 phone in the month of sep-2006. And i have already given if 3 times at nokia care center and every time they says that it will get rectify but they have not got it rectified yet. If one problem get rectify so there is another problem which comes up. And when i spoke at nokia call center so they suggested me to visit nokia care again. Could you please let me know that how many times I will have to visit nokia care to get my phone rectified. And asked them to change the handset then they simply refused.

Is these kind of services you will provide to your customers. Then what is the point going for nokia products.

What I have observed that they people are waiting for warranty to get over, then they will be having this excuse that they cant change the set now because warranty is not there.

If you people are not going to do anything on this; I know other legal ways also to get the things done.

Replacement of battery from Nokia Care Centre
Complaint for:

1. Planet Shoppe,Rajakamal Sqr. Amravati
2. Nokia Care Centre, near Rajapeth Police Station, Badnera Road, Amravati , Maharashtra, India.

I am Mr. Sanjay Isad,[ System Admin] belong to Amravati [M.S.], India. I have purchased Nokia 6072 model from yours district dealer mobile shop "Planet".

When I reached to your dealer for the complaint regarding the battery charging, i faced a very rudely treatment by your Nokia dealer and I've experienced badly when i shocked to see that my mobile battery has been charged by the dealer instead of clearing the problem.

When I got it replaced by an old and used battery, I made complaint to your authorized Nokia Care centre who explained me very properly how that battery has been changed by the earlier dealer named "Planet Mobile Shop", Rajkamal Sqr., Amravati. When I reported once again to the Nokia Care they insist me to purchase a new battery. Ok. I have purchased due to my inconvenience, but still the new battery they sold me with the same problem of not charging properly. When the next day of purchasing I reported them regarding the problem, they replied very rudely and asked me to keep it for repairing.

When I asked them to make complaint regarding this uncultured behavior they were agree to make it replaced with new battery. If your are really very serious about your customer services please do take interest to get feedback of your authorized dealers and Nokia Care Centre proprietors, specifically from Dist. Amravati State : Maharashtra.

I want to make a complaint of such worst treating customer care centre from Amravati who Rudely handles the problem of customers and uses worst and uncultured words for the customers after the purchase of Nokia handsets.

Frequent malfunction and replacement of memory card
This is regarding my nokia handset model no 6270. The set is in warranty period. This set is giving me perennial headache coz in last one year i have given this cell at patel nagar service center 7 times. The attitude of personnels out there is appalling to say the least esp one mr danny who threatened to physically harm me.

Besides, my memory card which i got with the cell phone has got corrupted and they told me its not under warranty. I confirmed from other sources and know that it is. Warranty no.

Hanging & restarting problems in 6270 handset
I brought nokia 6270 handset, it get restarting problem on the 3rd day of purchase. I take it to hcl nokia care centre, noida sec -2, they returned the handset after 15 days, after a short period the phone has occurred the same problems & it was taken to the nokia care centre three times for the same complaint. I am sick of the nokia handset & nokia care centre!
