I bought this phone back in March of 09' and two weeks later I started complaining about the phone.
when I called the reps, about the phone they assured that it was me and not the phone.then once I learnt all about the phone.it started again.

I called the reps about the phone they just kept giving me excuses and when you get a new phone everyone gets a thirty day grace period. they let my thirty days pass and when they finally decided to take the phone back, they sent me another phone older than that model with major defects, then I complained about that one . I finally got hip and I usually dont give anyone three chances but I gave then three. after my phone cuts my calls and change its status on its own and has bad recepti0on everywhere. I gave up and all this went on from march to now( october 2009) I feel that thy treat their customers with no respect after i told them that their phone had a defect on it to begin, they kept sending me the phone back then they charged me this crazy amout when I first stated out they would have takem my bill all the way up to 300.00 a month which took me forever to pay. now I pay something better.

when I purchased this phone, I wasn't well and i felt like I was pressured the woman who sold me the phone was manipulated and pushy. she just couldn't take no or "let me think aabout it" as a answer. It was just 'yes' to her.
please I write about this phone as caution.if you plan to buy from att, look into what you're about to buy!

I am sorry that i have purchased a handset nokia make model - 6300.
The instrument started causing problem within a period of 6 month of its purchase or so in such a way that it automatically gets dead, when I visited service centre in the mid of september 2009 they gave me JOB SHEET NO.- 223433527/0909151/14 and they had delivered after 2 days.
After 2 days they gave me repaired piece, but after 3 days from the delivery date phone again dead and they give me new JOB SHEET NO- 223433527/091006/4.
How may time we have to submit the same instrument.
Still Phone is in your company.
We are having one more cell of same model of nokia but there is no problem.
This s a thing for many reasons
1.I m without mobile, because they didnt gave me any replacement instrument.
2. My sim card may loose it s validity since not in use due to non instrumental status of mine. and I am losing on my prepaid value as well.
3.I lost my interest/charm of occupying a new cell phone.
4.I m losing to and fro expenses to nokia care shop by going again and again since it is very far from my place.
5. Nokia being a largest celluler company can't get repaired a quite cheaper instruments even in a months time, means the instrument is having serious ERROR.

ON GROUND OF ABOVE I SHALL BE DEMANDING A FRESH PIECE FROM COMPANY ON PRIOTY BASIS.

I am it sure about other handsets, but this happens with my 6300: Create a text message. Click 'Options' and then select 'Insert contact'. When you select a contact from the Phonebook, the the SMS editor picks up the contact name and not the contact number from the Phonebook.

If you cannot insert a contact from the phonebook in a text message, why do you call that feature 'Insert Contact'???!!! For the end user, insert contact would mean inserting the contact number of a person and SMSing the number to another person. The end user wouldn't use this feature to SMS somebody's name from the phonebook!!

If this is by design, then it's ridiculous! And if it's a bug, then your QA folks failed to catch the obvious!

display problem.
i have a problem with my 6300 display i.e bottom side of the screen some lines are exposed day by day.Actual once display fell down frm my hand .After that, i replaced the display frm outside . On that time, they said that backlight issue is their in my mobile.So, i rectified that frm nokia showroom. now how can i rectified this display without changing to new one is that is possible to rectify or not . hope i get solution from urside. Hope to reply frm ur side soon.
