Defective Model
URGENT
Dear Sir/Mam,
I Miss. Sejal Mehta am a user of Nokia 6300 phone. I had purchased this phone on 06/01/2008 from ALFA (Vile Parle West). however within a week the battery of my phone was not working properly and used to take nearly 4 to 5 hrs to charge and would immediately become low inspite of not using the phone for more than 15 mins in a day.
Hence i approached ALPHA and they replaced the battery of my phone, however the same problem continued to persist inspite of replacing the battery.
They suggested me to go to Nokia care centre. So i went to the Nokia care centre at Lower Parel on 23/02/2008 and told them what the problem was. So they replaced my battery after having kept the phone with them for two days Ref: Job no.MUM0358860. However inspite of this the battery used to take 3 hrs for charging. Due to this problem i was not using any of the features of the phone like camera, music player, images, bluetooth and so on.since the problem was yet not solved i approached them once again on 17/03/2008 and they asked me to handover my charger and headset to them Ref: Job No.MUM0375756. They swapped the headset(replacement of motherboard) and replaced the charger and battery. The original ESN No.of my phone was 359544017223409 and the new ESN NO. is 359544010736415. They returned my phone after a week. However even after getting the headset swapped the battery now takes nearly an hour to charge but it drains out very fast.
So again i went to Nokia centre on 28/03/2008 Ref: Job No.MUM0382912.Since they were not convinced that the problem still persisted they kept my phone with them for two days inorder to inspect it.
Today when i went to collect my phone they told me that again the phone has gone for replacement(replacement of motherboard second time).
I would like to inform u and bring to your notice that inspite of buying a new phone of a company like Nokia i am not satisfied with the phone at all. infact it has already caused a lot of trouble to me since after every 10 days i have to go to the Nokia Centre to get it repaired.I fail to understand that even though the phone is not even 2 months old it has been repaired almost 4 times and yet the problem continues.
Now i have left all hopes of having the phone in good condition without any problems since there is no gurantee that inspite of getting it repaired so many times i will not face any problem again.
This is really a very unplesant experiance for me especially because Nokia phones are supposed to be of the best quality.
I have spent Rs. 8, 325 to buy this phone which is NOT AT ALL VALUE FOR MONEY.
Hence i request u to kindly solve my problem and replace me with a brand new phone or refund my money back to me.
My patience have given way now and hence if no responce is received from ur side i am left with no option but to approach the Consumer Forum.

To whomsoever it may concern,
I had sent the above mail to u yesterday however i have not received any reply from ur side.
Inspite of mentioning the problems that i am facing u have not taken any interest in the matter and have ignored it.
I demand that u look into the matter most urgently and reply back to me soon.
If no reply is received by me from ur side i shall move to the consumer forum and lodge a complaint against u for not providing quality products and services.

Bad service!
I have a Cell C contract which my wife has the use of. Only to discover that the phone has been blocked. I went into Cell C at Canal Walk shopping center, the assistant informed me that the phone has been blocked and blacklisted. Firstly we did not report the phone stolen, clearly it was an error on Cell C side and now after being told that the phone will be unblocked in 72hrs, that was on the 25 January and to date 5 Feb the problem has not been sorted. We also had the phone in our possession and did not report the phone stolen. All we wanted was the phone to be unblocked, the assistant could not trace who took the call and forgot to inform us that the procedure was to complete an unblacklisted form. No compensation has been made for the inconvenience, we are so disgusted with Cell C. Today, 5 Feb we get a sms saying to go and complete the form. Service at Cell C is pathetic, we will now be closing the account.

bettery problem
sir ,
i am using nokia 6300 mobile it has bettery related problem as it takes approx. 2h for charging whereas discharges with in a very minimum time as per desire .i purchaged this phone on the date nov 25 ,2007.
plsese suggest me any solution for my complete setisfation.

restarts automatically
i brought my nokia 6300 in Auguest 2007, initially the phone was worked as like anyother nokia product. but after 20 days of usage it got off while i was using it then it is not restarted. only the blue lights will come on the phone screen was blank. tkaen tot the shop. they repaired and returned in 2 days time saying that it s i fine but after another 2 weeks the same thing happened, this time they clainmed that they have changed the phone. but it was not the same phone which i was given but there was no other way to believe them. now it has got anothr probem it will a wistiling sound when i receive call s and it will restart auomatically some time the sound may not bw there but phone will restart for every 3rd or4th call. have got aby commnets.this is the quality of all 6300s or its just my phone
may be my phone is a monday monrning production!!!

SMS Problem
I bought a Nokia 6300 few days back. SMSing from it to Blackberry has some problem. small sms are easily made but large SMS does not go to target blackberry. but in my mobile SMS masaage sent detail shows that it has reached?

Faulty mobile phone!
I recently bought a Nokia 6300 and have had nothing but trouble with it since day 1. The phone has continuous problems with reception and line quality and 90% of the people i speak to on the phone complain about irregular noises, static or clarity. I live in Brisbane city, use a vodafone account and have never encountered these issues with previous phones.
The phone has problems with it's predictive text (it has a terrible memory and rarely stores 'new' words). The camera quality is terrible and the basic menu functions are very primitive compared to older, smarter phones that Nokia have produced.
The question is - why go backwards in design and functionality???
The verdict - do not buy a 6300 from Nokia. Instead go for a later model such as the 6120!

Poor performance of this newly launched handset
I'm using this nokia-6300 mobile handset only 7 months has passed, and this handset is not working properly. Battery back-up is very low, performance is very poor, and during call dialing it automatically restart sometimes switched off also.

Noise in earphone!
I ,Mr. Yogesh Samant am working with NXP Semiconductors India Pvt. Ltd. I had purchased 1 Nokia 6300 in July-2007 from Mumbai. When I make call or answer a call noisy sound comes from the earphone. It is consistent and is irrespective of the signal strength. The noise is similar to what you hear out of a large transformer when you stand nearby it.
I am not at all happy with this mobile due to this problem. When I purchased Nokia 6300 the battery gave problem so the shopowner replaced the complete set. And now this problem. It looks like Nokia is not a good buy...

Phone stopped working
I purchased Nokia 6300 through my credit card from a shop named mobile store in model town. Phone had really less battery back since day one. After few days all of a sudden i realized it was off and i could not switch it on. I opened and saw that there was some discharge from d battery.
I took it to nokia care in patel nagar but they refused to repair it in warranty as they said its a case of water logging damage. Though I ma very sure that no water spilling ever happened with my new cell phone.
The scene of Nokia care patel nagar was really terrific. People were shouting and screaming and there was no mngmnt. A few had complains of their new mobile not working prply and other few were waiting in ques everyday to get their phone back which thy had given for repairing. To my surprise they even refused to repair my cell. this tragedy has shaken my faith for company like NOKIA. ab my cell nokia 6300 for which i have yet to pay entire sum of 8649 is dead and useless. I dont know where to go at this hour.
Someone please suggest me some way out.
