I had purchased Nokia -6500-s 2 years back, it worked fine for few months but then started giving many issues like hang, memory card issue, i lost my data and everything,
I went to 3 or 4 nokia care centres, but all did the same job of upgrading the software which did not even help a single percent in solving the issue, finally on asking everyone i went to swargate nokia care, there i was told that the problem which my cell phone had, cud not be solved here since it has got some major hardware issue, so it needed to be sent to bombay and it will take min of 15 days,
then it was sent to bombay for repair, but they could also not solve the issue, so finally i got a new hand set as an replacement .
My question: why was that happen, wasnt it properly tested, if the customer is spending thousands of money, dont they expect a good quality product??
The replaced cell phone also worked well for months but now, it has also shown its true colors, it is almost dead now, i went again to the same nokia care center and was told to again upgrade the software, which actually did not help again, so then i was told there is some major issue, which will take min of 6k to make it repair.
What is the gaurentee of getting a good product and a quality replacement ? who will spend again 6k ? its been 3 months now and i am sick of taking it to the nokia care centers all the time ..
i want it to be repaired free since it was an replacement which did not work properly, and providing me the faulty piece as a replacement, where is the trust then?
