Handest Problem
On 23rd April 2011 I gave a Nokia E 72 which all of sudden stopped working . I had purchased it on 24th July 2010 and was under Warranty. After 10 days the Nokia care people informed me that my hand set is not repairable so i will get a New Handset ? When i went to take the delivery i was shocked and surprised to see the hand set, the back cover was old, i was told i will get the back cover old one only, and when i wanted to know the details of the handset was not given a satisfactory reply and was told bluntly if you want to take this Swapped hand set take it or write to Nokia . I have written to Nokia emailed them and even lodged a complain over the telephone, but i am not getting a proper reply my letter have not bee answered, i was promised that some one from Nokia will call me within 5 working days no one have called me, I want that my old hand set should be given back to me or they should provide me with a Box packed handset so that i can know it is a new hand set with all details, as this handset I am not sure when was it manufactured etc, i was informed that i must take the delivery and use the handset if there is a problem i must contact them again after paying Rs 17K for a premium handset i will have to be always sitting in a Nokia care every week and after 23rd July 2011 i will not be also entertained, so i will request all if you want to buy a Premium handset be careful in future, as we the Customer are at the mercy of the company and specially the Service provider's like Everest Mobicare who were not even provided me with the Address and email address of Nokia, they said go ate take it is on the Box of the Phone ?

I have a faulty handset that has got issues life restart, hang ups, keypad stops working
I have a faulty handset that has got issues life restart, hang ups, keypad stops working. This set has been repaired six times now, by different Nokia care centers in Delhi and Gurgaon. Instead of the issue being resolved, this set has now stop vibrating as well. In past 11 months I have made numerous trips to service Center and talked to lot of people. The above mentioned person promied me to replace the handset, even then the same handset is returned after 6th time repair.

Nokia N97 Mini:Substandard Phone,Poor Customer Service
Hi,

Sub: Replacement of Nokia N97Mini Cell Phone

I had purchased a new Nokia N97 Mini on 29/12/2009 in Delhi for around Rs 25000/-.
The details of my Cell phone are as follows:
 Model: Nokia N97Mini
 EIMI no: 356918036130196
 Type: RM-555
 Software Version: v10.0.020

The Problem:

The cell phone keeps getting hanged and it cant be used again unless its switched off and restarted. I have been facing this problem since the week I have purchased this mobile phone.

The Ordeal :
• I called the Nokia Customer Care(30303838) to seek help for my problem and I was guided to a Nokia Care Center.
• I had to skip office to go to a Nokia Care Center where I was advised to go back home and take a data back up and then come again. The name of the Nokia Center is Saksham Services in Mayur Vihar.
• I went back home took a back up and went back to the nokia care center.
• My Cell phone was taken for around half an hour and it was returned saying that the problem is fixed.
• The problem resurfaced later in the evening.
• I have again called the customer care number and I got the response that it required you would have to travel to the Nokia Care Center 100 times to get your phone fixed. Nobody will help you.

I have written to Nokia customer care and the suggestion given by them are:
• I should Deposit my handset at Nokia Care
• They will investigate if there is a problem
• They might keep my mobile for ‘n’ number of days for investigation
• And then they would try and fix my mobile.
• Subsequently If its repaired I can collect the substandard set again.

Taken for a Ride:
• I cant be expected to skip office and go to a Nokia Care Center every second day.
• Also after spending 25000/-Rs, I can’t be expected to deposit my phone at a Nokia Care Center and wait for days and weeks so that Nokia can experiment on my mobile.
• What if the phone is repaired now and it again develops a fault after the expiry of the warranty period.Since the handset is substandard product.

I would appreciate if after reading all of the above, Nokia as an organization would look into my problem and give me a solution in terms of a cell phone replacement immediately.

Hopefully my problem would be taken cognizance of because a consumer of a High End Nokia Product, cannot be expected to run around with his/her mobile with in one month of purchase.

IMPROPER RESPONSE BY NOKIA CARE IN RESPECT OF HANDSET UNDER WARRANTY
I PURCHASED A NOKIA 1650 HANDSET ON OCT 08, 2008. THE HANDSET IS SAID TO BE UNDER WARRANTY FOR ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. IT DEVELOPED CERTAIN PROBLEM AND WAS NOT GETTING SWITCHED ON. I SUBMITTED THE SAME FOR REPAIR AT NOKIACARE OUTLET AT GUPTA ASSOCIATES, HIG-16, SEC-4, VAISHALI, GHAZIABAD (U.P.) ON JUL 30, 2009. THEY TOLD THAT THE BATTERY HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY US AND WILL NOT BE REPLACED. THEY HOWVER ACCEPTED THE HANDSET FOR REPAIR. BUT WHAT USE WILL IT BE OF WITHOUT A PROPER BATTERY. Malfunctioning of Nokia 5310Xpressmusic

Dear Sir/s,
I am G. Raychaudhury from Kolkata, India. Being a regular user of Nokia products, I have purchased a Nokia 5310 handset on 6th June 2009.
From the third day I was experiencing 'starting problem'. After some days, the handset refused to start but after 3 more days it started nicely. This was repeated twice after a gap of 3/4 days. Then, it permanently refused to start and showed a message - 'contact service'.
I took it to Nokia Care, where they could not repair it and so send it to the service centre at Delhi. The same is lying there till now.

Firstly, I am told by Nokia Care that all my valuable contacts will be lost due to formatting/updating software, for which I have to suffer irreparable loss.
Secondly, I cannot use the phone for two months now, so the purpose of purchase stands defeated.
Thirdly, I came to know subsequently from some other users and local shopkeepers that the 5310 model is much complained against due to the aforesaid problem they are getting.
Lastly, after duly purchasing a new phone nobody would like to use the same if it makes a tour to the service center so early.
I had a telephonic confabulation with Mr. Kumar of Delhi's customer relation department, who did not pay heed to my cause. I am also awaiting reply from the Board of Directors at Finland, whom I have sent a relevant mail.
As such, I would like to request you to kindly provide me a replacement phone or a new phone of some better model for which I am ready to pay the difference amount.
I will be happy if you respond early. Hope to see that NOKIA maintains its worldwide reputation. Thanking you.

Scam and cheating
I have purchased my Nokia 6300 on 28/01/2008 from a distributor in Faridabad. It started creating problems somewhere in Dec'08, so finally I had to take it to the Nokia Service center at Sec-15 Faridabad for the first time on 7th Jan 2009 to get it repaired. The problem was that the cell gets switched off itself and blinking lights on the display it would take more than 15 minutes to restart and then again switch off itself.The service center repaired the phone and I collected it back.But the problem persisted again a few days later. I had to resubmit it on 14th Jan 2009.They again repaired it and this process continued for 4 TIMES till the warranty of my phone got expired on 24th Feb 2009. Now when I again went with the same problem to the Service Center they said that I will be charged for repairing my phone.I communicated to Nokia customer center too through e-mails, in the beginning they assured me of repairing it under warranty but after sometime they too stopped replying my mails. Please tell if 4 services could not repair the damage can another PAID service will be able to get the problem solved.

cheating
I had a problem with aNokia 3230 set which is under warranty, the set was submitted to nokia care on 14th August, after several visits and followups they have promised to replace my set with a new one as they are unable to repair the set, today(10/09/2008) they have given me a set which I found as a damm old one after checking carefully . Some of the switches are not working properly, the vibrator motor is also not working.

This is a clear case of mal-business practice and cheating I request Nokia to give me my original set back

Pathetic after sales service
I had purchased a Nokia N-73 Music edition paying Rs. 20,000. Within two months of use the incoming and outgoing audio started giving problem and I had to use the headset to make and recieve the calls. I gave the Handset to Nokia care st District Centre Janak Puri New Delhi and after 7 days of daily visit to them I was told that the set can't be repaired as It has got some liquid damage, I asked them to show me that damage which they point blank refused and instead asked me to leave the premises with my handset. I took my handset and went to HCL Infinet in Patel Nagar New Delhi. There they said that they cant accept the set because the mic from the set is missing. It was a shocking news to me that the Nokia care center in Janak Puri has not only spoiled my set they have also "Stolen" the mic from the handset. I called up the Nokia care center and you will be surprised what they told me. "India being a humid country its possible that moisture might creep into the phone without the knowledge of the customer." So why did Nokia launch a product in India which was not suitable for Indian condition. Isn't it a fraud with the trust of unsuspecting customer from a company like Nokia?

Today I am stranded with a most expensive phone. So friends before you buy a Nokia product just think twice?

I have a Nokia 2112 Model Using Tata Indicom Network But Network not be display in My Mobile is also restarting i m going to nokia care but care centers do not reply me this is poor service

Defective product & deficient service
I have purchased Nokia N73 M in August. Within 14 days of purchase the display of the phone has gone off. Intermittently sometimes when I dial in to somebody the person cannot hear my voice & this problem continues till the phone is switched off & one again.

I have given my phone for repairs on 10th Sep 07 & today being 14th Sep i have not heard anything form the service center. The service center numbers given are perennially engaged & after 30 -40 attempts cant get thro. Also Nokia call center is very ineffective in helping this resolve.

I guess the consumer is paying the price for making this brand numero uno & i really wish I had evaluated some other brand rather than putting blind faith in Nokia
