Nokia Reviews

Terrible experience
I had purchased a N 70 about 2 months back. By accident, it fell into a pool of water. Last week, I took it to a Nokia Care center in Kolkata. Subsequently, after 2 days, while returning the handset, I was told that the set was not repaired for high costs. I am fully aware that as per the terms of Warranty, since the handset fell into water, the warranty has become void.

However, I would like to know if the set can be repaired at all if I am prepared to bear the repairing costs. For else, I would have to treat the set as a piece of junk.

Pathetic customer care
I use a Nokia hands free headset (Nokia Boom Headset) for my Nokia N 70. I bought this device about 4 months back. Within 3 months of usage, the headset malfunctioned and no audio output could be received. I took the headset to Nokia Care, Royapettah, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and I was first told that this device did not have any warranty even though I was clearly informed that there was a 6 months warranty on the device on the date of purchase. After an argument the person agreed that there was a warranty of the device and filed a job sheet (on the 16th of April) promising me a solution within 20 days.

Within 20 days I went to the service canter and they told me to call them after 2 days sighting some excuse. I went after 2 days and they asked yet another 2 days. This cycle continued for the next 4 times that I went. Today is the 29th of April and I still don’t have a headset. The headset I purchased was 650 RS. If you calculate the time, petrol costs and energy that I have spent on following up with the care center, I guess the money will be twice that amount. Nokia should understand that we are customers of Nokia and not dogs on the street. I have a very busy job schedule and cannot waste my time following up on a 650 RS headset. I am very sorry to say, but I find the customer care of Nokia, the most pathetic, rubbish, insensitive care centre that I have ever had the misfortune to come across.

I assure you, Nokia sales are going to drop down this way. This is not only my complaint but complaint of many Nokia users, in my state and my country. Although I may obtain a new headset now, I assure you, I am not going to sit quietly. I will see what can be done at the highest level possible to take all these Nokia people to task, who seem to think the customers are puppets who can made to dance according to their tunes.

I find Nokia as the most rubbish care center I have ever encountered and I assure you, this will be the last Nokia product I ever purchase for myself or any family member and the same will be the advice I provide to all my friends.

Scam
At 04.28 I received an sms stating that I had won £265K. Was a bit suspicious because of the time, was told to phone +447024013102 or email [email protected] Even though I was suspicious I made the call, after all a friend of mine won a Porshe on the Lotto last week, the phone was answered by a foreign person who told me I had won a different amount!!! and to email with my country, phone number and address.

A scam for sure pity would like to have been as lucky as my pal
