NOKIA MOBILE 5310 PURCHASED ON DECEMBER 2007, SENT FOR 1ST SERVICE IN JAN, 2ND SERVICE IN JAN? WORSE THAN A AUTOMOBILE. NEVER TAKE A NOKIA MOBILE IS A ADVICE. PUT HANDS TOGETHER ALL AND MAKE THEM CLOSE THE COMPANY.

I was utterly disappointed with the service render on 3rd and 4th of May.

On that day I went to Tampines Nokia Care Centre in Century Square around 4pm to repair my Nokia N95 mobile phone which has problem with the mp3 player upon purchased. We were served by a gentleman and were informed that my phone needs to have a software upgrade and phone memory will be lost. As I have important data in my mass memory and enquire again if my mass memory will be affected. I was assured that my MASS MEMORY WILL NOT BE AFFECTED and the gentleman did a double confirm with his technical staff.

The gentleman then gives us a document and ONLY briefs us the document says the scratches on my phone are not under the warranty. I trusted him that the document was merely to inform me that the scratch was not under warranty and signed the document. While I was signing the document, my boyfriend still check with him if mass memory will not be affect and the gentleman did give us another assurance.

The next day around 4pm, I went to collect my phone and was upset that my important data in my mass memory was deleted. I was told that the data was loss due to software upgrade. I was furious and inform him that yesterday the staff assured me that my mass memory will not be affected.

Another senior Malay lady came and spoke to me. She emphasis on the fact that I have signed the T&C which indicate there will be a possible data loss. Her attitude was bad and she made it sound that it was my fault not to read the document. When I request to speak to higher authority she kept insisting that she is the duty manager and refused us to speak to higher authority.

I am really disappointed with the service. First, the staff has assured me that my mass memory will not be affected. Secondly, the Malay lady’s attitude was unsatisfactory and most importantly I have lost many important data.

I have many important data in my mass memory which I had work on for many months and are meant for my potential employer to review on my artwork. Now that these data are unrecoverable due to the staff’s misleading information.
