Poor service provided by nokia care
The nokia care centers in chandigarh are at there worst working... no one picks up the call of the customer... so the person is not sure if his job in done... and once u reach there u got to wait for at least an hour to get someone to attend you... and still one finds that his job is incomplete... i myself had made around 4 visits to the care center... but still no results... my thinking about nokia being the best cell phone company is completely demolished...

Faulty phone!
I bought NOKIA 3125 CDMA. WIth in 6 months the phone book disappeared and phone sound became noisy. NOKIA service people say they do not have its software and would take one month to repair it.
This is the lousiest response I got from any service center.

Poor service!
I am using 5300 mobile, I went to nokia care in eldams road Teynampet for virus cleaning, The mobile was in good working condition when i gave them. When i went back to collect it the staff who work there says that the mobile is locked up in the cupboard and you will get only tomorrow as the other staff has left home and when i went on the next day the staff said the mobile has to be given in main branch for the service, so i got a doubt and checked with nokia customer care. They said there is no nokia care in that area itself, so i asked them to give back the mobile when they gave me the mobile the mobile was not working.
People beware!!!

Harassment by nokia!
Mobile phone 6600 given for repairs at G-26, South Extension, part -1, New Delhi, INDIA.
I had given my mobile phone for repairs on 10th july 07 and the target delivery date was 17th july 07, which was not honored. Awritten commitment was given tome for 21st july 07 evening, which also has not been honored. I was made to wait for hours by Mr Mahabir, but have not got my mobile. The phones are never answered and I really do not know how to retrieve my mobile. The price quoted to me for repairs was Rs 1250/-+taxes. When I questioned them, it came down to Rs750 /- and on further questioning them it came down to Rs 350/- . One wonders at their authenticity.

No proper customer care cent!
There is no proper evaluation of the handset in the customer Care, they just want to escape the responsibility.
I had enough with nokia people, i will never in my life time go for nokia product again.

MA mobiles IC gets screwed within 8 days after purchase
I had purcased NOKIA 5200 on the 5th of july... just after 8 days after purchase, ma mobile gets screwed... the service guy in guwahati says the IC is screwed... its in fact irritating when we trust BIG product names like NOKIA, N finally we find that we r cheated... i would like the concerned authorities or the people at nokia to replace a new phone... the IEMI number of ma mobile is 356300011874462...

Poor quality product!
Hi, all. I am using Nokia N73. I try to upgrade my phone firmware 3.0704.1.0.1 to the latest version 4.0726.2.0.1. After upgrading done, it takes 10 secs to search for a contact in my address book whenever you do it by going to Contact or from Message to insert recipient in SMS.
There is no change in the number of contacts in my address book before I upgrade to the latest firmware. So I went down to Nokia service center at Wheel Lock Orchard Singapore.

13 Days Just To Install Firmware

I send my phone to Nokia center at Wheel Lock on July 6 (Friday). Tracking number is WHLA172261-001. Nokia personnel called me up on July 7 (Sat) to inform me that my phone will be sent to HQ.
On July 20 (Fri), I got back my phone with firmware 4.0727.2.2.1 installed. The menu was all change to my surprise. And when I press the right top button, it goes to Music player immediately. I check my phone, format it and install back all software and go to sleep.
On July 21 (Sat), the problem happened again. "It takes 10 secs to search for a contact in my address book whenever you do it by going to Contact or from
Message to insert recipient in SMS." I check forum and discovered that the firmware 4.0727.2.2.1 is belong to Nokia N73 Music Edition and not
Nokia N73 which supposed to be the version 4.0726.2.0.1.
I looked back at the report of what was done. It was basically not change of hardware, but I guess simply firmware upgrade and the worst part is that they upgrade the wrong firmware version for me without knowing it. 13 days just to install firmware!!! What a joke!

PCB Board Change But Still Problems

On the same day July 21 (Sat), I sent my phone to Nokia center and highlighted to them this problem. They said that they will try to get it done by July 24 (Tue). Tracking number is WHLA175495-001. Upon getting back my phone, the firmware was correctly installed which is the version 4.0726.2.0.1.
However, when I accessing my address book, same problem occurred with my current address book and number of contact...

And I have to reduce the number of contact and its information attached to it. What a failure of this firmware. This is not supposed to happened! And she told me to accept it. Another problem is that whenever I on my hand phone, I have to key in the date and time!
I told the Nokia service lady that this is capacitor problem, not that after change the PCB change issue that resulted in that the capacitor need to be charged. As I encountered this before with my friend Nokia 6288, that Nokia change for me the capacitor. She said her engineer said so which I don't trust at all. When I asked her to give me a promise to write a black and white letter to prove that their engineer is correct, she told me it is not her policy. And when I asked for phone replacement, she said it is not their policy.
When I wake up, problem still exist. Every time I on my phone, I have to key in date and time.
So the moral of the phone,
1) Nokia service people never listen to customer.
2) They think they are right, but in fact they are wrong. (Firmware installed wrongly, date/time issue.)
3) Their engineer cannot make it.
Give up on Nokia poor service. Although their service center look nicer over the year, but their service and professionalism is not there.

Nokia - complete customer apathy
I bought an N-73M on March 18th, 07, paid Rs.22,000 and till date have used it for a total of about one month (Note: I am writing this on 24th of July 07)! The product is great to store music, capture stills and videos, and works fine until you want to make a phone call. The damn thing can't convey what you are saying to the listener. Whats more, it shuts off on its own, without any warning whatsoever! So I kept carrying my reliable old samsung, just in case it was time to make a phone call.
Next, I went to nokia "CARE". Once, twice, thrice and the fourth time, they just hijacked the phone and now i keep calling up to find out the whereabouts of my N73! They tell me Nokia has a policy to replace the handset if you go to them 3 times in a row for the same problem. So I did check out this option, only for the Nokia care owner to tell me that they do not replace it with a new one. They give you a new phone, so the good thing is that the next time you go to nokia CARE, it wont be for the same problem! Wow, you have to admire the policies, the product, the service CARE, and Nokia! Amazing these guys hope to maintain their number 1 position worldwide, with such a mix to ensure complete customer apathy!!!

Mobile not repaired for past 16 days
I have given my handset 16days back. And was informed it wud take maximum on 3 days after i agree with the repair amount. Now its 10 working days after i agreed. And now also they are procrastinating... Excuse is 'The components are not available' ... Are the components getting manufactured after u get a defective handset.And for this rubbish service they charge Rs 112 if you don't want to get ur handset repaired from them after getting it inspected.
Is Nokia overlooking customer satisfaction has it already grabbed the market in india???

Irresponsibility of service centers!
I have one nokia 6020 mobile phone with imei no. 357937002880138... It trouble shot (automatically switch off) and give it for repair in shri shakthi communications, shakthi theater complex, coen road, hubli, karnataka, india on 21st may 2007. They repaired and give back on same date under the warranty period... And its again troubleshot, and i give for repair on after two days because of same problem, they repaired and give under warranty... after two weeks its again showing the same problem and i submitted mobile for repair on same service center...that time it was not under warranty... they provide service job sheet and estimated value amount wasrs.500... But afterwards they demandingrs. 2000. For repairing... And they are making delay also...
Now i have great suspicious about their activities because they already know the hand set warranty going to be over, so they temporally repaired and give back handset...
