I purchased a new Nokia mobile, model no. 2630, from:
MOBILE HOUSE
PHAGWARA GATE, OPPOSITE OLD POLICE DIVISION NO.3, JALANDHAR CITY.
on 28-March 2008 against bill no. 13971, the mobile set was operational in the shop where i purchased it from but started creating problems same day. First it started hanging and ultimately stopped displaying anything. i contacted the dealer the very next day and he referred me to NOKIA CARE CENTRE, BASANT CHOWK, NEAR MODEL TOWN, JALANDHAR. Who checked the set and detected software problem in my phone and told me to visit again in evening. I visited the centre only to know that the problem was something different and the set has been sent to CHANDIGARH for repairs. a jobsheet was made on 2nd april 2008 and i was given ten days time to collect the mobile set.now i was phoneless and this was affecting my business severely so i had to purchase another used mobile set for Rs. 2000/- to run my requirements. Even after the given delivery time of repaired mobile set i.e. 12 april 2008--- NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE, handed me the mobile set on 21st april 2008 with three useless visits of about 6 kms distance from my house.
I checked the mobile set and again it was not working at all. so I again visited the NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE with that faulty set. This time they found BATTERY PROBLEM. A new jobsheet (No.344434038/080421/6) was made and battery was again sent to Chandigarh for replacement. I was given time of ten days to collect NEW BATTERY. After the given time was over I contacted them and they kept on giving me new delivery dates on every visit. Even after SIX VISITS from 01st may 2008 and many complaints to NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE (LATEST COMPLAINT NO. 2-307B8H), I am still waiting for the NEW BATTERY, which I think I won't ever get.
NOW I WANT TO ASK "NOKIA" WHY THEY CLAIM TO BE THE TOPMOST AND INTERNATIONAL MOBILE BRAND, WITH SUCH KIND OF LOW GRADED, POOR, CHEAP, HARASSING, TIME WASTING SERVICE AFTER SALES. WITH THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE OF NOKIA IT APPEARS AS IF NOKIA IS SELLING DUMMY MOBILE SETS IN NEW PACKING, WITH SO CALLED USELESS WARRENTY. ACTUALLY NOKIA IS RELUCTANT TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE FAULTY SETS ( FOR WHICH THEY HAVE CHARGED THOUSANDS OF RUPEES). ISN'T IT A FALSE COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS AND FAILURE IN SERVICE ???
