Non shipment of product
On 3/25/09 we placed an order for a nonmetallic corrosive cabinet to store pesticides, etc. The website showed "same day availability". On 4/13/09 we still had not received the cabinet so called to check status; a message stating "due to high call volume" all representatives were busy, requested leaving a number & email address, which I did. I finally spoke to someone on 4/17 and was told production was behind and the item would ship by 5/8/09. On 5/12/09 I had still not received an email with tracking information, so called again. I was told that the item had not yet shipped; "Chris" would contact the warehouse for status and let me know that afternoon or next day; On 5/14/09, I received an email from Chris apologizing for the delay and stating that it should ship by the end of the next week. On 5/19/09 I again received an email from Chris stating that the order should ship by Friday, she would contact me on Monday with the tracking number. No further contact until 5/28/09, at which time I was told the order would ship on 06/05/09. On 5/28/09 I also requested credit for the shipping charges of $75.06; that was approved, but as of 6/18/09 we have not received a refund of that amount. On 6/11/09 I called; Chris again said she would check with the warehouse and email the next day. On 6/16/09 I again called and only reached the recording, so sent an email requesting status; on 6/18/09 I again received an email stating that the cabinet would ship the week on 07/10/09. At this point I have no idea if we'll ever see the cabinet or get a refund. I regret that I did not read up on this company before ordering - apparently this is very common. No wonder they have such a "high call volume" that they cannot answer their phone!
