Salesman forgery and Company's resolution to repsond.
North American Bancard / Global Services Credit Card Merchants

I was a approached by a salesman representing Bancard/Global on Nov 2010. He reassured me that this company has no cancellation fee or does not follow contracts. That is the reason why I wanted to change from Prodigy services because of their 36 month leases. So the only way was to change to Banacard because of no contract. The agreemnet papers were 5 pages long without any contract clauses.

I received the credit card machine and the checking machine on Dec 2010. The crazy part was that, with the machines, I noticed a 3 year agreement plan. I called Banacard immediately without even unwrapping the machines. They told me that I have agreed on a 3 year contract. I asked them to send me a copy, and to my surprise there were my forged initials on the sheets that my salesman never showed me.

They said ok, we'll cancel, as soon as you fill out a written cancellation form they emailed me, with the machines.. They re-imbursed me for all fees from Nov to Dec 2010. I sighed with relief, until I received another bill on Jan 2011. I called and waited 45 mins on the phone. The rep that took my complaint reassurred me that it was a msitake and that he will talk to his boss and call me back. Never called back. Feb 2011, another bill and March 2011 another bill with add ons. Myperk.com, and some other software fees. I called and I found out that I have another account, pretty cool, huh? They say that I never cancelled this account within my 45 days so now I'm locked to a 3 year contract with a $1, 300 early termination fee., amazing. I have decided to research every complaint about htis company and fight it as a team with others like me. Anyone who wants to join me, please give me a call at 315-863-8287

Year contract turns into three year when try to cancel
I was told that this was a year contract and that I could cancel after a year and that the credit card machine was mine. I have been with this company for 16 months and I just tried to call in to cancel my service with this company and I was told that I have another 20 months on the contract. If I cancelled now, I would have to $500.00 and send back the machine. ($25.00 a month X 20 months). I was told that I could pay $25.00 a month until the contract ends but that I could not accept any credit cards. The funny part is, is that I still have to return the credit card machine that was free. Why do companies think that they have to take advantage of the little person? I got the credit card machine to accept credit cards at the flea market, it didn't work out and know I can not cancel. Is this right? Should a company be that greedy, not to allow somebody to cancel a product or service for a reasonable fee?
